Physical Description: Black hair, brown eyes. Slim but athletic build. Body has a few scars & wounds from his time as part of the Oxmyx Outfit & the Dominion war.

Personality: Friendly when one first speaks to him & he talks with the stereotypical mobster accent & slang of the 1920s of Earth's 20th Century. When angered, Nixo can be very frightening to behold - Threats, expletives & brandishing and use of weapons may follow.

Character History: Nixo was born to Rig Glitz and his "Moll" Lily. His childhood was typical of children growing up on Iotia - running in local gangs, hustling marks in pool, cards or dice, shaking down kids for lunch money, running rackets & scams, etc.

When he was in his mid-teens, his father brought him into the family business - small-time muscle for the Oxmyx outfit as an Associate. It was small time at first, leaning on people who owed the outfit, shaking down the local businesses and guarding low-level "made" members. After a few short years of this, he proved himself and became a Soldier of the outfit and it was a proud moment for his parents for them & they bought him his first suit and holsters for his guns.



Not long after his world was invaded by the Dominion during its war with the Federation, destroying the Iotian's Space Station and fledgling Space Force and using the planet as a strategic base to launch attacks further into Federation space.

The Iotians did not take well to being invaded and fought with a ruthlessness not seen since the mob wars before peace was enforced by "The Feds" decades ago. Young Nixo fought in many engagements against the Jem'Hadar as part of the now unified Iotian Mob - bombings, ambushes, prisoner liberations and sabotage.



It was only when the Federation's 3rd Fleet attacked the Dominion orbiting Shipyard & Ground base that the Iotians were free. The Iotian Mob threw the officers of the fleet a Ticker Tape parade down Krako Boulevard and presented the Admiral with a Check for 420 billion Dollars (the Federation's cut held in escrow for decades after the USS Enterprise visit to their world).

For Nixo it was bittersweet as he had lost many friends in the war to liberate his world as well as the only woman he loved, Jinny. When the fleet was ordered to leave once Iotia was garrisoned by Starfleet, many Iotians asked to go with the fleet to continue the fight. Permission was granted with Nixo and a few hundred Soldiers, Enforcers & Lieutenants forming the Iotian Column fighting arm of the 3rd Fleet.

After the war was over, Nixo decided to not return to Iotia and instead traveled the galaxy and had many adventures in the Alpha & Beta quadrants. When word came to him of Federation ships looking for bartenders on their vessels, he applied and now finds himself serving on board the USS Artemis.
