Known by her nickname, Penny, she acquired her nom de guerre 'Dreadful' as a precocious spoiled child. Admittedly, it was bestowed on her by frazzled nannies who couldn't stand her antics, practical jokes, insults and wild activities for more than a week at a time. Referred to as 'that dreadful child', new acquaintances mistook it for her name. Penny decided she liked it, and so it stuck.

For the most part, her antics (and the name) amused her father, Duke Ironmane. As she grew older, though, she disagreed with just about everything her father said, did, or told her to do, including who to marry. This caused her father's hair to turn gray, thus matching his name.

She's 5'9", a svelte 122 pounds, blonde hair and sea-green eyes. Unknown to her father, she's become Myrrwhyddon's apprentice. She's also a bit of a rogue and a swordswoman.
