Jirana is a young Jedi padawan; bright, cheerful and painfully naive. She is a pretty and petite teenager who always wears her long black hair in a braid; she has a rather un-Jedi like taste for fancy clothes and hairstyles, but her position does not usually allow her to indulge it, except to customize her robes with a skirt. Jirana's father was a Senator, so she grew up rather pampered. When she was discovered, it was natural she would go to serve the Republic. The Jedi are usually above political influence, although it still may have something to do with Jirana's relatively easy progress through training; that and her natural talent with the force. What she lacks is experience, and the knowledge that not everyone loves the Republic and wants to help people as much as she does.
