2.25 meters tall and approximately 100kg, Yarua is an average female Wookiee. Her shaggy pelt is brown, as are her eyes. Like many Wookiees she rarely wears clothes other than a bandolier or utility belt, but has a predilection for braiding beads, flowers, or ribbons into her hair.

Yarua was born on Kashyyk, but taken from her family by slavers at a young age. Sold to a minor Hutt gangster, she was trained to be an arena fighter and fortunately showed a talent for it, which meant she rarely left the ring with more than a few minor wounds or the occasional broken bone. She's not a bloodthirsty sort-- out of the ring, she's fairly laid-back and affable, and makes friends easily. In a fight she's all business, though. Eventually, she made friends with another slave who was planning on escaping and started to give the idea serious thought. She was recruited into the plot and although she wasn't able to provide much in the way of planning, she was invaluable when it came time to actually putting the plan into motion. They escaped and made their way to Cularin System, where she took up work as muscle-for-hire.
