Vander has always been small, even for a halfling, standing at just 3 feet tall and weighing in at 60 pounds.  With his youthful face, he has often been mistaken for a human child, a look which he often enhances by wearing oversized shirts. Currently he is wearing travelling clothes and a hooded cloak. However, he does have a nasty looking crossbow on his back.
