I am in Germany, and thanks to the earth slides and floods we do have some power and internet issues, together with damage in the garden and having had to take a flooded out relative in I have very little time until end of next week at least but I am around.

Yikes - take care Curator!  It's looked like a pretty horrid situation.

It will take years to fix. We went there to drop off some stuff and find a relative's dog (found it)and it is unbelievable. I have never been in an area affected by a flood before (storm, yes),and it is hard to describe. The area mostly stinks due to all the chemicals carried in the water,lots of it heating oil. Tanks had just been filled up with cheaper oil before winter prices came on. All the destroyed property, the animals... so much damage it will take years to fix and some areas might have to be depopulated for a long time. Sick people not knowing which meds they have to take because their doctor's places have been destroyed including all patient information.

And there is so little I can do to help, if anything.

That sounds truly horrible. But you are doing something- your sharing the story to others around the globe who will in turn share the story and that IS something.

Computer died completely,and my housemate has a working deadline coming up so i can hardly use his computer right now. We are trying to raise money fora new one but that may take a bit. Thanks to corona and Brexit my mate hardly got any commissions in the last few years.

We are also still helping with the flood issues, a private learning center for disadvantaged kids had their basement flooded were most of the classrooms were so we are helping with repairs. Renovation at least is something we can do.

Worst is, in a few months even most people in Germany will be back to normal unless they live in affected area, and after the elections politicians will forget their promises as well.

I'd really like to return the last 2 years to the universe, thank you very much.

As far as the game here is concerned, no hurries and no worries.  Real Life Takes Precedence.
