I do want to spend 1000 NuYen and get another spell for Michael; maybe even a power focus to boost his spell casting abilities. I’ll add more to his background later tonight.

Clairvoyance (detection): when you use Check the Situation, ask questions about areas you cannot see or what happened to items in the area before now (instant, self, essence 3).

Mind Probe (detection): learn something useful about an individual: what they love, what they lost, what they need, what they fear (touch, essence 2).

Group Invisibility (illusion): conceal a number of individuals from being seen by living beings and spirits (close, sustained, essence 2 per person concealed)

The clairvoyance spell would probably work better for Michael based on his background and character concept. He would be able to use this spell to establish the authenticity of items coming through his storefront.

@Firebird - are you asking to change up the spells? If I understand you correctly, you want to have a combat spell that does a physical fire based attack, a healing spell and a manipulation spell that has a telekinetic effect?

That is how she would do spells. Her Totem in Shadowrun gives bonus3s to fire and healing  spells.

Check the Boon your totem provides in your PocSec. It’s a bit different than you may have been expecting (since the mechanics are Sixth World / PbtA not ShadowRun).  Shamans draw their power and learn from spirits, so this boon makes more sense.

How about something like this for spells:

Fireball
Knockout
Heal
Telekinesis

@Neko - based on your background, you probably have some experience in these kinds of thing. I’m working on your playbook and looking at the move Doorkicker.

Doorkicker: ‘When you lead others in an ambush or assault, roll +Combat. On 10+ designate 3 opponents who take the condition surprised, on 7-9 designate two opponents.’

Interested in taking that move? You could definitely play it up IC taking on the role of tactical planner.
