Aboard the Sailfishking

The boat looks fully prepared, the android crew running about and making ready.

"Yeah, I get it. Assault the fortress. Wouldn't you have time to send me back so I could travel with one of the more covert groups? They've seen me on this boat, they'll expect me."

"I'll run you back, but it could get a little weird. How about we go through Southtown? The weather can be strange, what with the miser brothers, but it's usually pretty safe."

Drifter appears on the boat with Manta Man and Hatter and... Wait, did he bring a gray wolf along? It separates from the other three, sees Shadow Strike, and approaches them. It stares at Shadow Strike.

Aboard the Sailfishking

The reporter has somehow slipped aboard wearing a uniform like those on the androids. He approaches Manta Man and says in a low voice "welcome aboard, Manning. I've studied a map of the island, and if the coordinates are correct, that puts this place uncomfortably near Dr. Destroyer's Island. It also suggests that some 'natural' features may be used for other purposes. Anyone checking out the sea-level cave? It might be an access for submersibles. "

A few side notes:
Manta Man is at the wheel, piloting the boat. He is also navigating using the Manta Man suit's on-board computer and GPS. What does this say about Enforcer's statement:
Enforcer:
From Various Locations - Currently 45 minutes out to sea
In reply to NightHawk (msg # 272):

on the Radio: Not a problem, I'll find a pilot.

There's also a clue you might want to consider (not sure who saw it)

The yacht has a typical set of nautical charts, mostly covering the Caribbean. The only other item of interest is a small notebook found in the captain's cabin. The single entry in the book appears as follows:
    transmit-
  • Shadow to Overlord
    reply -
  • Overlord; Go Shadow
    transmit-
  • The Hawk has arrived. Repeat. The Hawk has arrived
    reply -
  • Overlord; Hear you Shadow bring it home.
    transmit-
  • Bringing her in Overlord.

1) Darryl was never seen aboard the ship. He was just at the docks and if discovered is 'another nosy reporter snooping around'.

2) Still not seeing any clue mentioned....

Re: Aboard the Sailfishking

As the boat approaches the dock, Manta Man says one thing, loudly, "reception committee".
Continuing to approach the dock, he continues, "can we discern their intent?"
