As previous OOC thread has almost reached the 1,000 posts, I'm starting a new one :)

Tomorrow I'll be away, traveling for work.

On the week commencing on the 18th of September I will be on holiday :)

The (surviving) characters from The Weird Wood adventure managed to escape the Weird Wood and are free to start a new adventure, if they wish so, or to re-start the same adventure and prove to themselves that they can regroup and face the same challenges more successfully next time.

I'd like to complete the Weird Wood quest if possible, but would need reinforcements to help out if possible. I am not averse to completing a different quest first then heading back if that's required, but I've lost a fellow adventurer to the Weird Wood and am keen to finish what we started.

As I said in my PM to the GM, I felt it was a bit sub-standard due to time constraints from work. I'd have loved to have some time to really refine it more as I felt it was a bit waffly in places and could have kept it's pace a little more. The reveal at the end was a little too soon, and I wasn't able to get the best "feel" for the Blackmoor setting as I had hoped.



It's definitely consistent, and I'd be interested to see which characters were active in the "low" years and who was active for the "highs". Still can't believe I've been a part of this game since 2019!!

As a former first-place contest winner, I did not want to participate and compete against other players so that they can have a chance to win a reward from the contest too.

I just wanted to participate. This is one of the few games that offers a challenge outside of the usual roleplay, and I enjoy the challenge of thinking outside of the box. So win or lose I wanted too challenge myself, and will be participating in each and every addition Dave Arneson or Blackmoor themed challenge.

You and Aumanas are two (while most of the adventures in the list are for three to five characters), but you can still look at the available adventures and make a proposal: if nobody else joins, I can always adapt the adventure for two players.

Jan is in a swamp, a very muddy swamp, while Aumas is currently training and looking for a new adventure to go on... Preferably, as you say, one that doesn't involve skeletons.

I've already completed A Night Under the Stars, and looking at the chain of adventures there's one called "The sorcerer's tomb" but it is suggested that we complete Losing Focus and/or Innuendo, but I can't seem to find the adventure Losing Focus. Any info on them would be nice.

...OK who am I kidding, yes they taste delicious. Looking forward to the upcoming Xmas festivities as we rarely eat turkey at any other point in my household. I don't enjoy losing time, but I cannot wait for Xmas Day and Boxing Day as on both occasions we are with family and have a turkey based feast.

Sorry (not sorry) turkeys. Know that your sacrifice is going to be worthy and very tasty.

So like...is there any sort of skill that's associated with driving the cart and riding ponies/horses? Or is it covered under the skill attribute?

I'm sure there is a related skill, but it should default to the Skill attribute. Possibly with a negative modifier for unfamiliarity, conditions and disposition of the animals pulling the cart...

Next week I'll be traveling and probably I won't be able to post.

The adventure Sorcerer's Tomb is over and the characters are free to join other groups. However, the quest hasn't been fully resolved and there is a chance to run this adventure again.

The adventure Mere Flight is over and the associated characters are now free to start new adventures and to join different groups, if they want!

During May and the first half of June I will travel quite frequently. It is likely that I won't be able to post for two or three days per week.
Please don't be worried by this temporary slow down :)
