I have a long running Kingmaker game that needs a couple of replacements:
The Game
The PC's have defeated the Stag Lord and in a lengthy negotiation process have carved out a burgeoning kingdom of their own. They are currently dealing with a rival Troll Kingdom rising up from the south as well as the standard plague of bandits, fey, and monsters.
The format of this game is heavily modified from other Kingmaker games, just as an FYI. I'm scrapping the kingdom building rules because playing "Spreadsheet Quest" isn't exciting for me. So instead of figuring out where to build houses I'm some 5E kingdom rules so instead the rulers will be dealing with events and their decision will increase or decrease the kingdom stats.
Kingdoms have "offensive" stats and "Defensive" stats. Then when the kingdom wants to do things like spy on a rival or invest funds in a big project you roll based on your kingdom's' Espionage or Resources stats or whatever is appropriate and that determines the outcome.
Also the structure of the game is built into 3 phases:
1) Explore & Events - adventure, deal with people petitioning the courts. Standard adventuring/kingmaker stuff falls here.
2) Build up Phase - once you come into direct opposition to a rival kingdom then you'll have a certain number of "kingdom" turns to build up an army, fortify your borders, and sabotage the enemy's attempts at build up and fortification.
3) The Big Battle - most of the eventual/inevitable war will be handled off screen for the purposes of actually getting stuff done. Instead the "tipping point" battle is simulated as well as the ultimate battle against the enemy generals/ruler.
The ultimate idea is that this game is a LOT less bookkeeping and micromanaging what are generally pointless decisions and instead focus on the kingdom stuff. Kings don't figure out where to build houses and taverns, they've got people for that. The King's job is to figure out which country to ally with, or whether to send troops across the border to deal with a bandit gang plaguing your people, or to decide whether or not to punish the nobles or raise taxes on the peasants.
The Characters
Cara - the gnomish bard and head diplomat
Vyntis - elvish high mage.
Cara has been with the group since the beginning so I'd prefer someone to pick her up. Tweaking the stats is acceptable but turning her from a bard into a raging viking barbarian wouldn't be ;). Personality wise, there isn't anything too crazy to pick up. She's a gnomish bard. It's what you'd expect :D
Vyntis was a new addition to the party and was barely in the game before dropping. While it would be nice if someone at least took the idea of an elvish mage honestly given their lack of involvement I'd be open for a brand new character.

If you're planning on taking up an existing character just tell me who you want and we can talk through any questions you have.
If you wanted to bring in a new character to replace Vyntis we'll go through a larger RTJ process but just let me know the basics of what you'd like to play and we can talk it through.
