"None of that justifies his earlier statement that he wanted to hurt us before he realised we could hurt him...because we had refrained from attacking him. I do not want to be responsible for him rushing off to attack someone who cannot defend themselves. On the contrary, I hate bullies, and it just makes me want to hurt him more!"

She remains very guarded, evaluating his actions again.

Gordab guardedly picks up the three coins.

"That was what I just asked him, how we could be sure he wouldn't hurt others.  Let's see what he has to say.

"Worst case, I guess we could come up with a way to immobilize him until he changees back."

The sudden outburst of sound is startling, and the triwolf makes another go at escaping, and slams Gordab back, creating an opening for it to flee.

Your position makes it very difficult to get a throat shot as it turned away from you and lunged past Gordab.
That his could easily have hit vitals though!

The creature winces, and had not been trying to claw or bite at Gordab, merely push past, which it has, Putting it within striking range of Shawn
It seems more intent on fleeing.

Shawn strikes at the tri-wolf's legs with his rod -- hoping to trip him up, rather than hurt him.

If not the neck, Anita would have gone for the vitals. The next round, she stabs at both the legs and the heart.

Gordab tries to kick at it, and Anita is able only to swipe at the legs as  it leaps (and limps) aside.  Its movement is faster on all fours, despite the injuries.
