OOC:  Depends?  I don't see how the two funky rules for piercing damage apply (Can Target Eyes and Vitals; Overpenetration), so that leaves the wounding modifier which is based on the flavor of the pi.

OOC:  Well yes, but that's secondary.  The piercing wounding modifier, Hit Locations they gain specific benes for, and Overpenetration are the rules that specifically effect piercing damage.

OOC:  Well, it's impaling damage (presumably the gnoll was using the stabby-stabby end of the spear), which is x2 after DR, so 4 injury.  As long as your total HP is 8+, it's not a Major Wound, but it is -4 on your skill rolls next turn.

The average gnoll weighs about 220lbs with gear, which is leather armor and shield.

the ones wearing heavier armor are probably 30-60 lbs heavier

Jednesa grabs at the two gnolls she just smacked and attempts to force them to have a meeting of the minds... but the second weaves out of her grasp!

Can Christine move the rain of fire, or does it need to be recast?

OOC:  Like most Area spells, there is no easy way to move it.  Create Fire and a few three of the "gas like" Area spells (Smoke, Stench, and Create Steam specifically) are the only ones that are "easy" to move, and they even still require another spell or natural condition (wind, slope, etc) to move them.

Be an interesting Meta magic spell to research (or a Perk to learn, call it "Walking My Shots", "New Target Acquisition" or some such and allow you to move a specific Area spell after it's cast to a new Area for so much mana).

Meanwhile,  the one that Masugatan sliced takes aswipe at him and misses.
Valerie swings an axe at it, but it catches on the gnoll's shield.

the leager barks out co.mands, and the spear gnolls and sli gers take aim at Jednesa's eyes...

Jednesa grabs the gnoll slinger with her second hand, spins him to face away from herself, hoists him sideways in front of her face like a shield, and begins charging toward the spearweilding gnolls.


OOC:  All Out Attack, using the gnoll as Cover for her face.  Her Move is reduced to 6.  Let me know if she reaches any gnolls for slamming purposes.

The gnoll she's holding never even tried to break free, so he should get an attack, go ahead and let him take one it might crit through her Thick Hide (or something else useful for them).  And then he gets another one (or a break free attempt, ahahahaha) while she's hoisting him and running at the speargnolls.
