Ardenas slips into the card room as soon as the door is clear, stepping to the side to avoid blocking.

Her patience is clearly not holding...

"Okay, hold on, before this goes terribly awry," Benny pushes through the group into the room and speaks aside so his voice does not carry, "Aoife, I presume there are laws against that, so maybe restrain yourself before someone decides the Hadereum needs to intercede.  Hades doesn't look as kindly upon the Fae as my Lord does."

He turns to face the gamblers, with the young man who responded in the center, "Gentleman, we're only here to speak to 'Lucky' Alban, so pray continue with your pursuits uninterrupted by our presence.  Young man, we hear you have had a tremendous run of luck lately, which has of course dried up as no one will lay wagers with you anymore.  Come outside and talk with us about this a spell, and maybe we can help you out of the situation you've found yourself in."

When he appears dubious, "I extended to you Hermes protection for the duration of this meeting."


OOC:  Still under Hermes Grace, Benny has Charisma 4, and Honest Face, but he made his Fast-Talk Influence roll so the reaction should be "Good" unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Something slips into the room.  Small and hard to see.
It moves to the highest perch it can find and looks around.

the room is full of odd characters, in addition to the large bass plsyer [private to Rosewood: there is Gordab!] there is an ebony hued giantess with three eyes and flaming hair, and aa couple of guildsfolk in varying degrees of armor.  They are talking to one person at a table of card players,  the one with the largest pile of CV oins in front of him. the cards he put down include two kings and three Aces...
the other players seem angry with him, and the standing folk, excepting the ogrekin, all seem a little irritated with him.
