Morgan   was  checking the  'empty'  to make sure  the  Techs had a Power  Cell in  it..

 Morgan Grabbed  Andre's    Tunic  and pulled him in so close the Noses  hit.....lookit.... I lost a damn good  guy and a friend as we   scaled the  gods be damned  hull to  take a shuttle..don't you dare tell me...'you know"..'casue  i'll recommend  you  spent the rest of the  war  writing  Clark's name on ever  gods  be damned  hard ammo round we load into these machines..  He let him got  with a shove..Andre looked  more scared  then shocked.

"Understood Sir, Ambermoon out" she said turning to see Morgan grab Andre by the Tunic and tell him how it is and shove him back she wasn't the least bit phased by it, "You will do well to listen to my 2nd in command Andre if you wanna live past your first engagement out here, if this is gonna be a problem for you grab your bags and get back on the shuttle you came from" she said in a harsh commanding tone of voice that stated she was not joking.

She then moved off to get suited up she told Morgan to do the same, "Now get suited up and lets get going... clocks ticking"

 Andre  Picked up his   ball cap  and placed it in his  locker. and began to  put on light boarding  armor, as he told the  Techs what he wanted his load out to be.

 Morgan   slipped into his  light boarding  armor .. a stern look on his face   as he seemed to be thinking of somehting..

 Lizzy walked onto the Hanger Dec again and headed for her fighter. She looked at the Partially done nose art at least the firey outline of the Phoenix was there and the words "BURN IN THE 9 HELLS" was done. She will finish it later hopefully before she has another battle. She did do a quick check of her fighter and made sure anything that was touched when Haley and her where in the cockpit was all back to normal.

 Lizzy got her helmet on and then went and got her Thompson and her extra drum mag, and then closed everything up and headed for the Tunnels and another run, and by the looks of it a lot more after the run as well possibly, LC was always full of surprises.

"I think it is in the individual.  For some they use it as a confidence booster, others it's more of an entitlement.  All I can truly tell you is if you wake up in the morning and think of nothing but flying...then fly" she again shook her hand as this little bit of interview was over.  "I'll more than likely bring my guitar to the recdec.  sometimes Joseph and I duet songs or try and outdo each other." A she got back to painting.  Haley rejoined her as Lizzy decided to stop painting for a bit.
"Okay Punkin'.  We are gonna trace the outline, the I gotta go change.  I have to go do some joggin' in a bit"
"Why?  and does I gotta go to Toni's?" she asked
"Well.....Mr Shadow wants us all to be in shape.  Noone wants a tubby pilot.  And I don't see why you can't come and sit at the lap mark.  You can bring a coloring book.   Then we can have lunch and come back and finish.  Okay?" she said as they marked out the design.  she took 10 minutes to clean up and noted to ground crew she'd be back after the run and lunch.  She safely stored the paints and brushes for later use.
Then about 45 minutes til the run they headed to go change and such.

Coming off the lift from the hold she moved across the hanger dec back to the mech bay once in place she powered down, "You did good work out there Andre get your mech cleaned up and ready... it wont be long until we go into action" she then moved off to put away her light boarding armor in the locker once that was done she got herself a coffee and took a seat on a crate.

  Morgan   was checking the seals on his cockpit  as he took of  his  lt  boarding armor.

  I'm only going to say this once, Andre?    Clark lasted  a long  damn time, for a mech rider... he did it because he knew...he didn't know  everything. Try to learn from that...

Andre    placed his head gear on the top shelf,I'll remember... thanks...

 On the Hanger Dec  Power cells where being checked on the Fighters.. Cowlings  were opened  as  graphite Grease  was puffed into  the  Gatling   cannons.. Belts  were being loaded

 The torpedo aircraft  was getting  it s Payload   inserted as its   Pulse weapons  were checked  .

  The Spade , Diamond  and Club were being  readied... Extra    50 Cal  belts  secured  for the Bubble  Gunners

  a few piltos  were   helping load thier belts  , or  touching  up thier  nose  art..others  were  making sure thier   survive  kits  and weapon were out in the  compartment  and door   secure.

Nikki noticed upon walking onto the dec that the pilots seemed more.... cautious.  Still she thought not to alert Haley.  Moving to the Mantis they again began painting her nose art.  She let Haley fill in large bits of the color, and she would go back and do fine touches or repairs.  She and Haley would chat and talk as they worked.  Occasionally Haley would go and sit on a box next to the mantis.  If Haley asked questions, Nikki answered as best she could.  Finally it got to looking like she wanted, not perfect, but you got the gist.  Nikki figured with the left over paints she could fix it with touch ups here and there.  She left out the words under the piece, but did get the pinstripe on it.
She began cleaning up the brushes and such, sorting what would be returned to the QM and what was not.  "There...how does that look?"
Haley looked at it "Not bad, Nikki...Needs more color or something brighter" she looked at it with her head a bit tilted to the right, then left.
"Well...supposed to be kinda dark" she said.  She then ran a quick check similar to the other pilots as the paint dried.  Checking her survival kit, and gear.  Making sure she had full armaments, repairs done or scheduled to be done, everything that if and when needed she could just gear up and saddle up.  "Okay now...lets go return what needs to be turned in, go get cleaned up and into some nicer clothes.....then we go get some items to make toffeedoodles" She gave Haley a bit of a gentle head bump and smile.

 Lizzy came onto the Hanger Dec, she smiled at Nikki and Haley as they where just getting started working on Nikki's nose art. Lizzy stowed away her helmet and Thompson, she made sure her Thompson was in perfect working order and double checked all her gear and emergency supplies.

 Then she went and got everything she needed and began to work hard to trace and paint her Phoenix. It had a lot of color, Reds, Oranges and Yellows. The words 'BURN IN THE 9 HELLS' was also in bright red so the enemy could see it in the black. Every once and while she would wave and smile at Haley and Nikki and have them check out her progress. Lizzy would watch the time and make sure she was done in time to go ready ready for her evening with Izzy.

 When they where both done Lizzy looked over and said to Nikki and Haley," Wow that looks really great Nikki, you both did a great job, and Haley you did really awesome." Lizzy would walk over to Haley kneel down and then say," For being such an amazing help to Nikki and myself after I clean up, and if Nikki says it is okay I would like to drop by and give you a surprise before I spend time with a friend tonight. Like I said if Nikki says it is okay, I have something special I would like to give to you Haley."

 Lizzy will look at Nikki waiting for her wingmate to let her know if it is okay or not, and Lizzy already knew what she was going to give too Haley.

  Lucky was  runnign  around... ammo crates here.. tools there.. sweep up loose debris  so it  didn't swirl around when the Fighters took off.

 Rivets  was  calling out orders, the   sound s or   Hyper drivers  and Hydro spanners   working  on   wing panels  and  such.

   Foster  was goign over  his Machine. His  wife  was near him, thier 'own' child was sitting with her, while  Foster  Step Son  sat on the wing waiting Foster   Load his  round.

    another Transport shuttle  Landed.. Mostly  Ground  crew  and  Gunnery Mates to replace transfers  to Bura.

 On  fellow, looked to be  close  to Jax's age stepped  off   The Chief    welcomed him a with a  Grin.

 well. Lad, yuour  follow them Yellow  stripes.. when you get past the  Fighters, YUou check in with CAptain Morris... Tehn he'll point yuou to  the SM... check in first..right?

 ..Yes Sir, Chief!... he   picked up his seabag and His   duffle a File case  across his back.

Kira was giving a few orders to her people wanting them to make sure all mechs were loaded and at 100% 36 hours seemed far off but it really wasn't and they needed to be ready once things were in place she took a break to walk the fighter line and look at the new nose art stopping by Lizzy's aircraft to look over the phoenix and the writing, "You're quite talented ensign, your line work is on point" she would compliment Lizzy on her work once she was finished talking to the young girl.

 After Lizzy was done talking with Nikki and Haley, Lizzy went back to check her nose art and do checks on her fighter. Then Kira came over and complimented her on her nose art, Lizzy smiled at her and said," Thank you very much Chief, it did come out pretty good. I have never painted on a fighter before. Harry said your very good as well, so you liking it makes me feel good about my work. So your a Mech rider that must be pretty intense?"

  Shadow , Shade  and Roll walked  dwon the  ramp  that lead  into the hander dec itself. Gregor's eha d  Hung from the back pack as the stuffed   little larg slept away.

  Roll looked at  Shadow's   Picturewhy does that lady have metal Underwear on?.

 Argie brought   the canisters over while  shade sat on a wing, with his back against the   cockpit, and they began to load  belts.

Nikki smiled "Don't see why not.  After we clean up a bit we were gonna get fixings for toffeedoodle cookies to make for Roll...You know since his got burned up.  I also wanted to chat with Morticia.  See how she's doing and all." she nodded at Lizzy.
Haley smiled broadly "Yes please!"came out excitedly.
"Your Phoenix came out great too.  Love the golden yellow touches" about this time she could see a few new people arriving it seemed and a few she knew by appearance, but had not truly met yet.  One was a Chief Petty Officer headed towards them.  Patched she knew made her Mechrider.  She nodded in greeting "CPO"
Haley looked at her and just gave a ehthusiastic "Hi"

Kira nodded, "Ive been painting since i was a young-ling so i like to think I'm pretty good at it and yes I'm a mech rider one of the very few left in service... its not as intense as you folks and your space battles but we do our part where we are needed"

When Nikki addressed her she looked over to her and the little girl and smiled, "Greetings was just checking out the nose arts, gives me inspiration for new drawings"

Nikki stood up from her crouched position she'd been in cleaning her brushes off.  A bit paint covered she still offered her hand "Everyone has a part in this war, each is important.  I'm Ensign Rutledge, this is Haley McGaha, my ward" to which haley smiled up at the CPO.

 Roll came through the Berths  Lookign up at  all the pictures.. he  saw the LAdie s talking  and  came  close  his brand new ( for him) Vidboard  and Back pack and  snoring  Larg.

Hearing the echos of a snoring larg pup caused both Haley and Nikki to turn and look.  "Hey Roll.  Hows our hero doing?" Nikki said
Haley, as one could tell was rather sweet on Roll she moved and gave him a hug, and one for Gregor.  "You gottsa new backpack!"

 Lizzy was very happy when Nikki said it was okay to drop by later, and Haley was so excited. Lizzy knew after her surprise she would hopefully be a lot more excited and very happy. " Great I will see you guys after we all get cleaned up, Haley you are a great little girl just keep being you okay, and you can be whatever you want to be when you get older remember that okay Haley?"

  Lizzy gave Haley a kiss on the cheek and smiled at Nikki and then got up and looked at Kira. " Well it does get pretty intense, the Vampic space battle was my first battle and I learned a lot, but you Mech Riders I remember my Fath..., um someone telling me stories of the Mech Riders, you guys fight on the ground and in space. We all have our calling Chief and I am glad to have Mech Riders covering my ass for sure. I am Ensign Lizzy O'Conner nice to meet you Chief."

 Lizzy felt her emotions building but she got control very quickly and said," Well with my red hair, I figured a Phoenix and red in my nose art would fit perfectly, yeah I think the golden Yellow really makes it all pop thanks Nikki."

 Lizzy smiled at Roll and said," I saw you take out that Hover chair, good work you can call me Lizzy Roll."

 Roll  got a bit red faced  when  Haley Hugged him, then said bashfuly,..Yeah...Mr  Shadow  took me to SEC to see if  Beth could fix up my VidBAOrd, it got burned up by the  thrusters  and  so did my back pack and Cookies.... But  Mr Shade  game me one of  his SEC backjpacks, and beth game me one of her  old   Vidboards.. its  faster then my old one!...

 gregor   'gracked' a bit  then  settled back to sleep.....he eated too much...again...

Kira accepted her hand with a nod, "I'm Chief Ambermoon its a pleasure to meet you all" she said addressing them all, she then turned her attention back to Lizzy, "I should show you the design on my mech sometime when you have free time Ensign O'Conner"

It was then the little one Roll showed up she looked over to him and smiled.
