Non-lethal only.  No cold damage.

And fyi, it's not a splash weapon so no circumstance bonus for Throw Anything.

That works, given that my plan is more to distract him. I was just wondering if I was going to make his head explode when I nailed him.

Ended up spending more time than I thought responding to PMs that were backlogged.  Back again tomorrow.

I can make a vacuum arrow that would destroy anything within a 10 foot radius... or if you'd like with a wizard I can make a railgun that would deal about a whole lot of dice worth of damage.

Or failing all that, I can make a mecha(stone, iron, doesn't matter).

So basicly, it also shows you easy ways to do what you already can't too.

Quotes that make me giggle

Konrad:
"T'aint nuthin boy." Stryer repied. The old warrior eyed Konrad suspiciously, before turning his head to spit a stream of tobacco juice at the wall.

Okay, Stryer Jordan is Rooster Cogburn.

This is the 3rd World Cup I've been interested in and that was the best final of all of them.  And I would have said that even if Germany lost, though I would have been sadder typing it in.  That was a great match.

Can't wait to get my next DFB kit with 4 stars on it

In reply to Bell Oleander (msg # 41):

I believe this is what Luke said (my own emphasis added): "Do what you must, but I want to avoid any unnecessary blood shed. Besides, the guard might raise an alarm if you don't take him out instantly."

Not that Luke is there to be able to dictate what is necessary and unnecessary...

Things that amuse me:

Luke:
OOC: He's so perceptive.

09:34, Today: Luke Harrington rolled 2 using 1d20 with rolls of 2. Perception.

followed by:

Kubrik:
OOC:
18:56, Today: Kubrik Borklaw rolled 14 using 1d20+13 with rolls of 1. Perception.

Yeah like I'm any better

I think it's because Anansi, Liss and Konrad used up all the halfway decent rolls from the dice roller this week.  They didn't even leave a scrap for Garflin to use.

In 1745, he his x-great-grandfather was.  Or, as they call it around here, Pennsylvania Dutch.

Nope.  But anyone can buy the uniform when it comes out on adidas.com.

Wait, you mean they allow foreigners to wear them? What a disgrace.
I'd like to know how much Nike would be willing to pay to buy them off from Adidas.  They'd never accept, but still.

Re: Quotes that make me giggle

Greetings!  Looks like I might be joining Donato, Kellendil and Elijah soon.  I'm looking forward to it.  I know you guys have a sort of Gaelic thing going on, so I created this character with a bit of a Scottish highlander flavor.  Are there any posting conventions I should be made aware of?  I'm tempted to use a bit of Scottish brogue flavor in my posts (I've been reading a book recently set in 1700's Scotland) but you guys seem to keep it to normal conversational English (probably the best way to do it, actually).

I'm not part of your group, but if I were, I'd vote for the Scottish brogue. :D

Josep:
Josep witnessed the retreat of the party of four from the entrance. The sudden unease on real Janne was not lost on the young evoker; he asked Xavar in a whisper.
"Why is she surprised to see you?"

Without a successful check to recognize Janne through the disguise (Tandro will have to remind me of the DC), Josep will not realize that is Janne -- he will only see the faux Janne, and will have to make a separate check to realize that faux Janne (i.e., the bait Lady So mentioned -- so I would give you a circumstance bonus) is not in fact Janne.

Well, none of the other three PCs are themselves from the highlands.  And I vote brogue.

I always vote brogue.

The DC is 31 for the Perception check.  And technically, a character only gets a Perception check if they are suspicious.

PFSRD:
If you don’t draw any attention to yourself, others do not get to make Perception checks. If you come to the attention of people who are suspicious (such as a guard who is watching commoners walking through a city gate), it can be assumed that such observers are taking 10 on their Perception checks.

Josep

So ... I think I'd say Josep can take 10 on the Perception check for faux Janne (or make a roll if you want) to confirm that it is actually not Janne.  But he has no particular reason to think the girl with Tandro might be anything other than a flighty debutante.
