Anyone have any suggestions for a tech specialist character I am playing in a Table Top game?  Non-combat options for SWSE are few and far between.  Specific Gear, Feats, and Talents would be appreciated.

Tech Specialists in SWSE are always made using the Scoundrel class.  But the Scout and Noble will also do.  Unfortunately, Noble doesn't really have any Talent Tree that will help.

Feats you must take are Tech Specialist (like duh) and Scavenger (so you can use junk to make stuff).  A Skill Focus or two doesn't hurt.  You can take Hasty Modification (that has Tech Specialist as a prerequisite)  that lets you exchange traits given to your gear by Tech Specialist.  Or you take Signature Device (also has Tech Specialist as a prerequisite) to allow one item to be easier to modify and to have two traits on it, although only one can be used at a time.  Gearhead is a good feat to take because it lets you do stuff in half the time.

Talent-wise, the Scout's Fringer Tree has some Talents that help with jury-rigging.

Well, if you wanna go Noble, the Wealth and Engineer talents could be of use. Though it's just as good if there's another Noble with Wealth in the party to finance your operations.

I'm part of Peace's game, which seemed to hit the holiday lull a bit early this year.

Yeah, I plan to pick up the pace again soon. It's the game 8th birthday next week!
