Riddle Me This XV

Someone starts a riddle or puzzle, and everyone else tries to guess what it is. The person with the right answer gets to ask the next one.  If the riddle poster does not respond, remind them.  If the riddle poster does not seem to be responding after awhile, assume that riddle is dead and move on to the next one.

(Time to start a new thread.  The old one was nearing 1000 posts.)

If you want to see private line guesses for previous riddles, you can look at a closed and archived riddle thread.

Here's a funny one I like. I did not make this up, so I assume it is online. Restrain yourself from looking it up, if you can.

Why is the letter O the noisiest of all the vowels?

I rather had fun making that one. one of my favorites of my recent creations.

I have one idea here. Maybe people can put their answers in "spoiler" format. Then if others want to try to solve, they can do so without having the answer right in front of them. Just an idea.

I haunt, all pale, the waters of foul fens;
Fortune has fashioned me a bloody name,
For greedy gulps of red blood are my fare.
No bones, or feet, or arms at all have I,
yet bite with three-forked wounds unlucky men,
And by health-bringing lips thus conquer care.

Yes, that is correct! This is  actually not 100% original. I modified it from a common riddle that goes like this:

A headless man had a letter to write; It was read by a man who had lost his sight. The dumb repeated it word for word, And deaf was he who listened and heard.

"The letter in question is the letter "O". It is zero. The man had nothing to write. The blind could read nothing. The person who was dumb could repeat nothing. The deaf man listened and heard nothing."
