Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Lots, strawberry, cookie dough, cookies and cream, though I'm not too picky. Hence why I said about any flavor would do.

My favorite is straight up vanilla. But I also enjoy other flavors from time to time.

No ice cream is as good as mint ice cream.  Maybe with some chocolate as well.  Ok, Girl Scout Thin Mint ice cream is the best possible ice cream.

Quite a few things. But right now I think I'm craving onions or garlic. Or both.

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Rather strange how similar they can taste.  I was adding garlic and onion to macaroni back in the day and I thought I'd lessen the taste of onions by reducing them and adding more garlic.  I continued doing that until finally I was adding plenty of powdered garlic and absolutely no onions and was forced to conclude that either they tasted very similar, or the taste that I'd been associating with the onions was actually from the garlic.

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

So true, except that they have very different and distinct flavors. I'm talking about fresh garlic and fresh onions, of course. Not garlic powder.

That could make a difference (not being garlic powder).

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Unless, of course, they're fresh, onions and garlic can taste quite similar. Of course, fresh onions and garlic are quite different. Also, side note, did you know that if your nose was entirely nonexistent, then fresh apples and onions would be indistinguishable? Actually, now that I mention them, I'm craving cinnamon apples n' onions... mmmmm :3

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Very interesting.  I've been snacking this morning on a packet of fruit snacks.  They say on the front, "Made with real fruit" but the ingredients on the back are, "corn syrup, sugar, apple puree concentrate, water, modified corn starch then contains 2% or less of some other stuff.  These may not actually be very good for me.

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Well, "apple puree concentrate" is real fruit. It's just real fruit that's been pureed and concentrated.

Re: Alphabet Conversation XXVI

Xactly how much apple is left, though?  Maybe it's just been concentrated down into a mostly-sugar mash. :p

Zooks, I'm tired and hot and tired.  I was there for a Sheriff deployment today at 3am, then we were out in... one guy's thermometer said 112 degree heat.

Can't blame you for the heat... unless you have elemental fire powers? Because then I'll totally blame you for the heat.

Dare I say it? Yes, I do have elemental fire powers. Along with some particularly shadowy powers, but I'll say no more. It is my philosophy to keep your hand a secret, lest you show others the weaknesses in that said hand. Still, it wasn't I who caused the heat. It might've been the geographical entity, but it wasn't me, cross my.... Erm....
