While giving up is not a valid option in most minds, ignoring it is not either, there are many ways to repair the world, it just takes more than a government to do so. Making the car issue less of an issue is just one aspect that could reduce the likelihood of our atmosphere dissolving. planting a few trees down the center of a road is only really making enough air to benefit maybe 100 people, ripping down an old unused building and replacing it with an all tree park would be more efficient long term. Making it illegal to plant your own vegetable, or fruit garden was moronic, and should be rescinded. Further more land that is not being used should not be illegal to use, thus allowing further plant life to fester there. Many other options are available to us, but in a land where walking, even standing can be seen as illegal there is not much hope.
