Re: Time Waster Dungeoneering III

(I have no right to be DM except that my keen senses detect the need for one.)

Light floods the room, revealing a savage, slobbering businessman on all fours leashed to a gentlemanly timber-wolf in a wool suit and ray-bans.

"Welcome, travelers," says the timber-wolf amicably.
"Arrooo!" says the businessman.

There is a large wooden door at the back of the room.

Re: Time Waster Dungeoneering III

Out of all of the creatures known to mankind, few have had to endure such prejudice, condemnation, and down right persecution as the wolf.  A pity, they have so many admirable qualities, both in regards to group dynamics, altruistic behavior and monogamy.  Genetic analysis has demonstrated that they do indeed mate for life (Kasher, 2000).

"Good days to you both, it is not every day that one finds a talking wolf... I shall have to note such an event in my journal at first opportunity."

walks forward and gives the wolf a scratch behind the ears.

"Anything you want to be there.
"The walls are what you think the walls should be made of.
The floor is what you think the floor should be made of.
You are absolute here. Construct something. Right now there is no one to tamper with your creation.
You are a God

The world trembles at your anger.
The sky weeps when you are sad.
Have fun with it.

You can create a door. It would go where you want it to go, but you will still be here.

For only I know the way to escape.

So tell me what is in the room?

,says the voice "All but me. Not going to be that easy." chuckles the bodiless voice.

As each though dances across his mind. The world bends to his will. Brick and stone leap into existence. Walls form traps set, runes scribble themselves along some walls. The dungeon grows and grows. It becomes the size of a village, then a town, a content a world.

Every crack is place where cracks should be. Every sound had purpose every echo perfection. Even the dirt lay exactly the way you thought dirt should be. There where panels and buttons, secret passages. Riddles both logical and moral.

Deep in the darkest pits where horrors that only you could imagine.

The dungeon fills with all sorts of beast, from big to small. Each more terrible than the last. Riches of gems, gold and diamonds, fill the rooms. Dragons patrol the skies, shadows creep along thes wall searching for victims.

The voice cackles "Build more build more. Better two armies or ten thousand to see who is truly the best

Re: Time Waster Dungeoneering III

Nope it was the closest thing I got to someone not trying to run the show.

Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

I had intended or thought that others would leap in and abuse their powers as Gods.
Battling and Pride would not let them die or stay dead. I was only going to let those who would let someone else run the show escape the room. Well you giving up your Godhood is close enough.

Re: Time Waster Dungeoneering III

You appear in a stone room with no windows or doors.  The room seems to be a perfect cube with dimensions of 30 feet.  The only notable features in the room are four torches, and only one of them is lit.  There is a single torch in the center of each wall.  The fire itself is an unnatural color that only an artist could distinguish as blue or green.  The fire almost whispers to you that is wishes to spread to the other torches in the room but it cannot without your assistance.
