If we give Dagon say $600 for the job just done (which probably took less than a day) then we should have given a significant tip. For future work, perhaps a share is appropriate. $5000-$600 = $4400/4 = $1100 per share. Sound right for all?

$20 per basic FP point at a skill of 15, but if you want the scroll charged, that costs 2.5x extra and if you want one that is useable by anyone, and not just by the sort that can cast the spell, that is 2x again- so a 3fp scroll of lesser healing would cost $300.  A stone of healing on the other hand, cures 8hp and costs $400.

Aldous needs to go find a replacement for his broken smallsword -- and chooses a much less fragile (and likely easier to find) shortsword.  It'll take some time to practice up to the level of proficiency he had with the sword he originally trained with, but it's more likely to last long enough to do so.

They weigh very little, but need something that weighs 5lbs to hold them -a waxed leather scroll case at the least, possibly with a strap (base price is $60) make a roll for availability- magic scrolls are 6 or less to find, 9 if you want to wait a bit.

A good night's sleep and Aldous will be ready to go, shiny new shortsword sheathed at his waist.
