Riya was born to a Peshaw human father and a Cumasti elven mother. The two fell in love while both were traveling away from their individual homes, and eventually left their communities permanently to start a new life together. Riya was one of the results.

Riya has been traveling on her own for a while now, but being in her mid-twenties, still has much to learn about being an adventurer.

She’s a dedicated archer with an enthusiasm for the craft. She began learning to use a bow in her mid-teens and is proud of her skill, but wishes to prove herself to others as a great adventurer--something she's yet to do.


Riya has enough natural magic to manifest a few simple spells, but is no great mage of any kind.

Sometimes she takes herself too seriously, and can be prone to grudge holding, but generally tries to treat others with respect.

Riya dresses for function. Like most people, she has her own personal style she’s drawn to, but her tastes lean simple. Generally, she wears a tunic with  pants beneath, under a leather cuirass in a brown plum color. Slung over her back is a quiver filled with arrows, alongside her unstrung bow and a satchel. Riya keeps her hair out of the way in a braided bun, where stray hairs can’t interfere with her sight or concentration in the heat of crisis. She has light brown skin, a mixture of her parents’ skin colors. Her features are almost human, but those who’ve come in contact with other mixed race elves would likely recognize her race, if the ears had not already given her away.
