Lyssandre is tall and willowy in build. He appears to be somewhere between 30-50 years old, and will never tell how old he really is. His darker complexion and tan eyes give him a rather earthy look, though he is definitely human.

The only really distinguishing mark Lys has is a scar on the inside of his left forearm: a heart shaped scar drawn diagonally with the top facing his thumb, and the point facing his inner elbow. Inside the heart are the initials "GH+KR".

Lys is rather quiet in nature, choosing to listen rather than speak. he will fight to defend those he cares about, but when the choice is personal, he had a hard time deciding what to do.

Lys has found his way into many groups like this one, due to his ability to disguise himself and a small group of less than ten as trees.  They won't look it to each other, but they will look like it to anyone he is not actively concealing. This, however, is the only type of magic he can do, and a lot of it relies on those he is hiding to remain extremely still to pull off the disguise, otherwise they will look like walking/talking trees. (which may or may not have other benefits).

He is also skilled with a spear, short sword and shield. The sword is carried on his round shield just above the arm straps, and he can turn the use of these weapons into a beautiful and deadly dance against opponents.
