APPEARANCE
Rhukh is tall and thin, composed of a magical conglomeration of deep-blue  crystals and metal and wood. Despite his artificial nature, his eyes are kind and his face shows wisdom and humility.

His voice is a multi-faceted instrument. He can speak any language, mimic any accent, and alter its tone and sound at will. In his past he was known as Rhukh of Many Voices."

PERSONALITY
Rhukh speaks slowly and carefully, as though weighted down with the endless possibilities in saying or doing something unwise or precipitous. He knows almost everything that can be known, but he wears his knowledge lightly.

He is endlessly fascinated by living beings and can listen to their stories forever. He loves to give advice and assistance when needed and nothing gives him greater pleasure than wisely and fairly adjudicating a  conflict.

HISTORY
In a time so long ago that it has been forgotten, a warlord conquered most of the known world. He found himself powerful, but alone. He couldn't trust anyone not to kill him, and so he gathered the most powerful magical artificers in the world to create for him the perfect companion, someone he could trust implicitly, who could tell him whatever he might want to know, who could soothe him with music when he asked.

Rhukh served as his companion for many years. Eventually, the warlord's kingdom fell in upon itself and collapsed from revolution and in-fighting, and Rhukh, a symbol of the warlord's reign, was deactivated and forgotten.

Rhukh was found and re-awakened a little over 50 years ago and has been serving the crown ever since, wandering the kingdom, helping the commonfolk, and doing what the royal family asks of him.
