Can the dice roller be adjusted for more than 3 dice of damage or include half dice of damage?
Thanks

It rolls two dice, no matter what you do.

I am not familiar with the system you are using.
but there is a drop down menu for the number of dice, and right below you may have the roller count each dice separately , even if you roll more then 1.
the 'manual ' part of the dice roller might be able to have fractions, but i doubt it?
My suggestion would be these.
1. roll you 'half dice' as a separate roll ( you need 1-3 roll 1d6 and divide by 2?)
2...mess around with the 'manual' section to get what you need?.. ( a made a 1d13 once just to mess with it.
3.. or , simply round your half dice up or down as needed.
I know its not much help, Maybe a Admin will have better ideas?
The manual section on the roller allows you to enter any size of dice you want, and in any combination (like 4d6, 1d3).
Today: GM rolled 18,1 using 4d6,1d3 ((5,4,4,5,1)).

True but.....this is really weird.
If I select Hero 5th or 6th Edition, Killing Attack and select No of die as 5 and die size as 6 (it defaults to 6 which is perfect) and choose Record Each Die.....why are only 3 dice rolled?
Why not 5 like I selected?

19:57, Today (name) rolled 16 using 5d6 ((4,2,4,1,5))
I rolled this with out using a 'system'. Picked 5 d6...record each dice

However the Hero System Killing Attack also factors a Stun value of d6-1 times the Body rolled.
So on the 5d6 roll you just had it would mean 16 body and 0,16,32,48,64, or 80 Stun.

yeah? I don't know the system, i just wanted to see if i would get 5 d6 to roll if recorded each dice
the only thing i can think is. roll a separate 1d6-1 ?
or Mod the dice rolls so the game is playable

donsr, this seems to purely be an issue when either of the Hero System Killing Attack Game Systems are selected.
There are definitely work-arounds.
Not the end of the world but would be ideal if the die roller handled this.

ok? i was thinking it might be something with the roller , but i use alot of 'bunch rolls' for my games and they always counted.
The fixes are important, because this isn't table top, and you don't want the game bogged down by some quirky dice rule. The important thing is keeping the game moving,, the rest can be seen as 'luck' if you lose out on a fraction or two.

It's in the roller. Whatever was done to create two rolls and multiply them together (this is what the results SHOULD be) also managed to avoid the field for number of dice. This is indicated on the roller itself, with
"Hero 5th Edition, Killing Attack" displaying "2d6 body damage, which is then multiplied by 1d6-1 for stun", and "Hero 6th Edition, Killing Attack " displaying "2d6 body damage, which is then multiplied by 1d3 for stun."

wow , i though Avalon Hills Battle Matrix were complicated! If i were a GM using that system, i'd come up with another way to do it. Having a 'system's' dice rolls might be neat, But it isn't good if its going to slow down the game.
