It is a popular genre of game. And you offering to take the dice out of the way is huge.

I believe it!

How many were you hoping to take total? I've never been able to manage more than five or so personally, especially considering the individual prologues.

Ah, I see you mentioned "two to three" in the advertisement. Very glad I made it in!

It's a good number. So many GMs burn out with too many.

Yeah, I'm sticking to 2-3.... might be convinced to take a fourth if it's a hacker or a shaman on a spirit quest running solo...

Yes, I'm glad I made it in as well. This is actually my first time playing a Street Samurai in either a Shadowrun or Cyberpunk game.

I loved both of your character concepts.  Depth and creativity always wins for me.

BTW, speaking of dice... the blackbox I'm using is the Sixth World hack of Dungeon World... is anyone familiar with it familiar with it?

Is that a PBTA? I love PBTA though there are only a few I am familiar with. Dungeon World is not one of them unfortunately.

Well thank you. I'm very glad you liked the concept.

And unfortunately I'm not. I may have to look it up now...

It's all good.  I'll keep the rolling to the bare minimum and when we need to the system is not clunky at all.  I can post the mechanics whenever I do roll up... to keep it transparent.

Great opening post by the way Lauri.

If we can find another writer of your caliber I think we should have some very interesting stories intertwining.

Thanks a lot, I really liked your opening post too. I can't wait for our characters to meet up in the game. The Elf and the Troll teaming up to take on runs.

I've hard such a time narrowing down the last character.... I figured frack it all to hell, I'll take two!

Introducing Acme and Hellfire!

While I normally run a one-on-one to flesh out the character concept, these two concepts compliment/contrast nicely so they will start off in a two player prelude.

Da'anzho chummers!  I promise that while I may be a pain in the ass, Coyote always teaches that it's for a good purpose.... Or maybe that it's for a good time..  Or maybe 'cause it's funny.  Or maybe to get laid....

Not sure, I'll have to consult with Coyote again.

I'll admit, the first thing I thought when I saw "Acme" was "Anvil", and I was very curious.

But a Coyote Shaman is even better than expected.

Glad to have you with us. Should be a wild ride.

Glad to be here.  I've been a Shadowrun player since 2nd Ed, and I actually live in Tir Tairngere (Salem to be precise) so I know the West Coast pretty well. (meaning I'll be sure to nail the ST when his geography is whack. For instance I-95 is on the Eastern Seaboard, I'm sure you meant I-5. :P)

I'm liking the reading on the other two preludes as well.  I actually know about where the Kenenbec Gulch is, I can certainly see it being the state it's presented as in being in the Northern Crescent/Tir disputed area.  I'm assuming that Grendel is part of the roaming communities (ain't gonna use the G word) of northern CalFree?

Haha. I actually meant to smash together Highway 99 (on the old Canadian side) and I-5 as I-995 but I missed a “9”. Good catch though!

Re: OOC Idle Chatter

I can see that.  There would still be a few roads that probably had some of US 99 on the north Sound corridor and I'm sure S-S would have cobbled together something for transport to Van while leaving the old I-5 in the dust.

Hi all, I am happy to be here. Just taking a minute to blow the dust off my classic books and refresh the old memory about the the tech we are using. Going to have to remember the lack of wireless.

He is, good eye.

"Nomads" is probably too romantic a word for a pack of itinerant agg workers and self described "free men", but it's what they would choose. Hard to find decent paying work without a SIN of course.

They dabble in whatever might make some Nuyen, vehicle repair, construction, etc.

His particular Clan has some strong ecological principals baked into their culture. And they have a few among their number would would probably pop up as "eco terrorists" in the right databases.
