Hello

So those who can see this thread can begin their intros.
Each character may post freely the events that took place to get them to the Capital of Basir.

You can pretty much make up the background as you like. Please do not use any of the NPCs in who's who as those are for DM to NPC.

I recommend a few items to touch on.

1. Where you came from
2. Why you came to the city
3. Where are you going

The opening post is as you enter the city from the main southern gate. Read the info provided so your post is fitting to the city.

Esparam

It would be weeks, since there is a war btw nations that has started in the last 2 months and many trade ships are being stopped and boarded. Many check points as they look for weapons, armor, and other goods.

Just to make sure I understand, when you say nations, you mean Kalamar and other territories? Not principalities within Kalamar? So Pekal and Basir are at peace?

Just that right now it embargoes and kalamar has offered coin rewards for any navy captain/pirate to sink the enemy

Aww maaaan, I'm sensing some Pekal(Esparam)-Basir(Thelonius) tensions within the group over those relics at some point haha.

I realised Pekal is actually at war with the country between Pekal and Basir (which in retrospect, makes taking the sea to reach Basir much more justified).
Is Pekal also at war with Kalamar then?

@Caladin: what do I do now? Do I wait for Lord Katonis totell me where to go or can I run with this myself?

I hear taverns are good for hiring adventurers, and maybe go to some classy one to avoid cutthroats ;p

I don’t want to just walk away from Katonis without being dismissed first.

I think its important for those that may not know the kok setting.

Hobgoblins are a very cool race in this game. Of course in my style of play nothing is so simple. But I don't expect every player to know the ins and outs of the Hobgoblin but they should not be treated like some stupid humanoid or creature that is worth exps.

Just keep in mind that most know they are very honorable, its just understand their code that difficult.
