New year

I don't do this near enough, i no9rmally hop on some one else's post.

As the year  ends i think   back to how long i have been here..all my games  are 12 or more years..my space game will be 14 on Jan 17.

I have seen people come and intro themselves, and soon see them running their own games.... I love the site..everything you need/want is here..and there is no 'elitism'

I  donate, one or twice a year here.... I don't think i have enough to be called  a 'friend of the site"..but  i toss what i can, I try to  answer  'new folks" posts, give them a small heads up  how to do stuff.

another site i'm on  has restrictions  if you aren't a paying member.. you get adds shoved  down your throat ( i delete  all the adds as i go..i'm only there for one game)..if you are a 'paying member, yiu get to Vote  of site wide  awards for GMs  or posts ( of course that's  for elites)... you get more   total PMs... other wise there is a Limit  ( heck, my space game has  more  PMs  saved that   the whole game site  over there has! )

Anyway...what i want to do is end  this year with Thanks  to the  Admins   who run this site, and for the site itself.. i like the look ( i used preferences for  my look, that i see). Everything  you need is 'right there', and Admins  keep the site running and safe

been here  since  2005...will stay here as long as i can!

 Hapy New year everyone!!

Same here.  I've been here on and off since 2010.  I can't believe it's been that long.

Thanks to all the GMs who make the time to run the games we Players play.  I've tried twice to GM here and failed because "Life and Work" got in the way.

Many Thanks To the site creators as well. The responsive interface is nice and enjoyable.

Happy New Year.

I'll hop onto this train and say to everyone: Thank you for all you do for the site, be it creating, administrating, running games, or even just playing in them. You rock!

I hope everyone has a wonderful (and safe) evening, and wish you all the best in the new year.

New year

I’ve been here over 00+ years and thanks to Jase and his wonderful admin it has been an ongoing pleasure.  Since 2023 when my husband passed and this November losing two loved ones within two days of each other and health issues the love and support of the players has kept me going even when I thought to throw in the towel they didn’t let me.  They’ve kept me going.  I have been spotadic yet they stayed. ALL the players on this site to me are the greatest!

May 2025 be an all around better year for each and everyone of us!

RPol Management thank you for all you do and put ip with!

Wait, you were here before the site opened (25 August 2000)?  Impressive!  :p

Rounding up to the nearest tens spot is a thing.  But the "+" that's just pure embellishment.

LOL I meant 20 +, I remember the big crash!  Which I pray never happens again!!!

I play using my phone and my right index finger to type,  one wonderful player pointed out did I know I hit the key to the side of the one I meant.  As you see.  70 and trouble with eyesight just call it a silly old wiman!  I posted as a character once without checking in OOC and it was jibberish.  But hilariously a player put in character ‘Quick! Get the Doc!  Delilah has had a stroke!’  We all had a good laugh at that together!

Happy New Year, donsr.  And thanks for reminding me to donate.  I haven't done so since last summer, I think.

New year

My wife and I got married while dressed as pirates on New Year's Day in 2011, at a Joe's Crab Shack.  My father-in-law paid for everyone's meals for the reception.
This year, we were awaken on our anniversary by a call from my brother-in-law telling us that their father was being rushed to the hospital.  His nephew had found him unresponsive and began performing CPR.  When the ambulance arrived, they took over and rushed him out the door, only for him to be declared in the ER.  But, he was gone when he was found.
Such an unfortunate thing to happen on a day my wife and I celebrate for two reasons.  But, that's how life goes.  Sad things happen on days that are meant to be happy, and happy things occur on sad days.
Someone once told me, "Smile!  Life sucks." And this is a quote I have chuckled over for nearly thirty years.
