Buy the Numbers - PF1e

I've got a copy of "Buy the Numbers," by Spencer “The Sigil” Cooley (available on DTRPG), and find the system intriguing and inspiring, but it only works well for D&D 3.5, which I only rarely play, anymore.

I've seen tons of discussion about adapting the system for other versions of the rules (PF1e, D&D 5e, PF2, and so on), but haven't seen a serious discussion about actually putting in the work.

I'm starting to work on adapting portions of of Pathfinder 1st Edition to use the system, and am curious if anyone else here is willing to discuss, drop insight, leave comments, or proffer opinions.  If so, I can create a "game" for the effort (or an ongoing forum thread), and leave it open for others to see.

It's entirely possible that this is overly ambitious, and I'm quite sure that I'll only do the work on the parts of the system which most interest me, but someone else might feel inspired by this as well, and might even make one or more contributions (no matter how large or small).

Is anyone else up for it?

I tried it for 3.5, and while it seems to work on paper, not only were people completely stumped, but it literally just makes optimization even more obscene (and I say that as a Tome-of-Battle-loving optimizer). It's been a while, so if there's concrete things to comment on I could pitch in, but I doubt I can offer more advice than that.

Good luck, though! I think it's a stepping stone to checking out classless and level-less systems xD
