The Alchemist's Lair

The kitchen area, waterlogged as it is, has a faint sound of water dripping from the sink, on to the floor and into it as well.

Emma looks for the source of the water. There were no rivers outside...

"Perhaps there's a cistern above, kept full by rainfall?  Or maybe there's an alchemical water source; this guy was an alchemist, after all."

Masugatan looks the floor over.  Does he see any drains or other possible hydro exits?

The Alchemist's Lair

In reply to Masugatan (msg # 6):

The basin had a drain hole, something looks to be wedged in it. The faucet drips. The water looks clear.
Inspecting closer, you can see that there is something off about the cabinet next to the sink (it is a 6 foot high standing pantry with waterlogged double doors)

Emma will inspect the Cabinet...opening it. Someone else can inspect the sink...

Re: The Alchemist's Lair

The elder sister steps up to the basin to see what's wedged into the drain opening, and reaches out to move the valve handle -- but instead of closing it, she opens it wide for a moment (having moved the handle the wrong way on the first try).

"Oh!  Well, at least it's only water."

[Private to GM: 18:38, Today: Evelina Grattan rolled 10 using 3d6.  Int to know the operation of a faucet valve (14).
18:40, Today: Evelina Grattan rolled 2 using 1d2.  1 to tighten the tap, 2 will open it instead.
