I have this weird idea for a game in which the setting is a lot like Fallout but with some "Walking Dead" and "XCOM II" tossed in for flavor. There is also a superhuman component to the action, though I won't say too much about it. That way, if there's interest, I won't spoil anything.

I would use a highly modified FASERIP base for the game, something I've been playing around with on another game. While the game system is flawed and has a LOT of irritating errors in which things don't mesh well, it is also free and easy to learn.

The proposed game will be Adult and feature many of the pop culture and crude humor aspects of the Fallout series.

Anyway, it would be more or less a playtest, so we'd have to manage expectations.

Well with an intro like that... colour me interested

I noticed a similarity in the SPECIAL (Fallout) system and FASERIP (Marvel) that intrigued me. I came up with the idea of converting to FASERIP and running a more free-wheeling game with elements from other CRPGs that were similar in feel. Instead of starting out with a 10mm and 13 rounds, the character will start out with some extraordinary abilities. If there is any more interest, I'll open a game and start looking for players.

Sounds intriguing. Unfortunately I very little experience with FASERIP. Hopefully that's not an issue.

I don't love FASERIP, but I also love Fallout, I'd give this a look at least.
