What are you looking for in a Call of Cthulhu game?

I want to run a CoC game (it'll be my 10th on Rpol) and I'd like to know what setting players really want to play.

My usual is 1920s/30s, but I'm willing to consider other eras. I'm not enthusiastic about Delta Green or Achtung! Cthulhu, so I'm probably not the guy for those, but I'll consider other styles. I've never run a Dark Ages or Invictus game or anything futuristic, but could try it if there's enough interest.

Please tell me what you'd like to play in terms of era --Invictus (Roman), Dark Ages, Gaslight, 20s/30s/40s, 50s-70s, 80s and 90s, 21st century up to 2020--  and setting --Lovecraft Country, USA, Britain, Europe, Middle East, Asia.

We can kick around some ideas here and see what gets people excited.

I've always wanted to see....and I'm not putting out interest here....is the Scooby Gang meets CoC.

Also not necessarily signing up to anything, but leaving general notice to the world that CoC Dark Ages in Eastern Europe/Russia would get this one player right there.

Actual colonial Massachusetts might be fun, too, assuming more cults willing to stir Things up came in with the incomers than were tolerated by the locals. Pilgrims seeking freedom from religious persecution and all that. The fact that any European PCs would probably end up in a survival situation/having to negotiate with such cultists would make it fascinating to me, though probably more work than the average. Thought I'd throw it out there, though.

Colonial Massachusetts sounds intriguing and not often covered.  I'd be rooting against the Colonists, however, but sometimes the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

My preferences:
WW2 towards the end of the war, just entering Germany on the allies side,  WW1 on the Russian front, being the Russians, Invictus (Roman) fighting anywhere, Gaslight London

I would be interested in Gaslight London

Standard 20s, Gaslight, or Musketeers would all be fun.
