Call of Cthulhu: Blackwater Creek

I am assessing interest in a game using 7th edition Call of Cthulhu rules (somewhat modified). It is suitable for players experienced or inexperienced with the system.

This is a Call of Cthulhu scenario provided with the Keeper’s (Game Master’s) screen from Chaosium. It will be slightly modified from the published version.

The action takes place not far from Arkham, Massachusetts in September 1926.

The investigators will be, for the most part, university types, dispatched to resolve the disappearance of Professor Henry Roades and his wife Abigail in the hills to the west of Arkham. The investigators will have ties to Miskatonic University, and/or be friends of Henry and Abigail Roades.

There will be six player characters, who should fill one of the following roles:
Professor (male) of Archaeology or Anthropology at Miskatonic University
Professor (male or female) of any other discipline at Miskatonic University
Friend (female) of Abigail Roades and (perhaps) wife of one of the professors
Non-university friend (male) of Professor Roades (an outdoorsman)
Private investigator (male) of Stein Investigations, a firm employed by Miskatonic University
Graduate assistant (male or female) of one of the professors, former student of Professor Roades

Just a reminder that character calling/character selection has to take place in the game, once it is created, and not in this forum.  Thanks.

I might be interested, but it would depend on the system changes you’re making.

Yep, fully understand that.  Just posted the reminder to ensure that a lot more posts wouldn't need moderating.  :)

I should be able to post the game tonight or tomorrow. I will put a link here and hold off on the Wanted-Players ad until those here have had a chance to rtj and get a spot, if they wish.

I've opened the game. If you're interested, please post an RTJ (request to join) as soon as possible. After a couple of days, if we haven't filled all the slots, I'll do additional recruiting.
