D&D 5e Interest

Looking to see what interest there is in a D&D 5e campaign.

  • Would probably be a somewhat low fantasy home brew setting or possibly Forgotten Realms.
  • 1st level start leaning on some of the premade modules for the first few levels and then branching out from there.
  • Core books would be available for character creation - nothing crazy.
  • Looking for a party of 4 to 6 players.
  • Posting rate would be relatively slow rate of 2-3 per week.
  • I’m a first time D&D GM and a new player to the game so would be beginner friendly game.

Thoughts?

I'd be interested.

When you write "CorebookS", do you also mean Xanathar's and such?

In reply to Hatten (msg # 2):

PHB and XGE (as that is what I own and have read) would be accepted without issue some additional content may be considered from other official sources.

Also starting stats would be standard array or the equivalent points buy.

You'll get a ton of Request to Joins even if they don't say they are interested here, but sounds eminently reasonable. =)

FT: I am also interested in a game such as you describe.

My sense of it is that mesneaky has the right of it -- you should get plenty of RTJs for a low-level 5e game that is beginner-friendly, more so than you might expect based upon the responses in this forum. :)

D&D 5e Interest

I have been trying to get into a low level 5th game for a bit, so i will put my name in also.

Familiar with 3.5 and a few other systems but not so much 5th. I do have the 5th phb though.

I'd be interested, especially at 2-3 posts a week. That's a good pace.

Forgotten Realms are really cool for this kind of game in my opinion, lots of lore to build off. anything you don't like you ignore and say its rumor. Sounds like a fun game.

I'm with Rgr here - lots of experience with 3.5, and would like to try my hand at 5e, so provided you are happy with a 5e noob I'm game. Not too familiar with FR either but can always work around that...

Something tells me you won't have much trouble getting RTJ's for your game. Call it a gut feeling, a hunch, or even intuition.
