IC: Pokemon Mythic

I've been a fan of Pokemon for a long time, but all my attempts at making a game of it tend to fail as interest drops. Well, I'm thinking of trying again, using the Mythic rule set this time.

For those wondering, the Mythic system is based around the Mythic Game Master Emulator, a logic table used to answer Yes/No questions with occasional random elements thrown in. The 'logic' part comes from character stats and situation being rated in a descriptive manner, instead of the usual absolute value. So, instead of saying an average human has a strength of 10, an ogre 18, and a dragon 24, Mythic would describe them as being Average, Incredible, and Superhuman 2. The same goes for the difficulty of task. An Average person will succeed half the time at a task of Average difficulty, but only once in ten against an Incredibly difficult task.
It also adds a twist that's not very common: each rolls has a chance to create a random event, beyond the usual critical success or failure. For example, an attempt to convince a guard to let you inside a building could result in a 'New NPC', meaning either the guard agrees and follows you, or you get turned back, but someone else who was also denied comes to talk about the situation. The events are described by a Type (new npc, pc positive, npc negative, etc.), a Noun, and a Verb. So events are an exercise in creative writing, based on the context where they are rolled.

A side effect of the rules is that the game would be closer to the Pokemon anime than the video games. Pokemon don't have hp, but taking a hit will weaken them until they're healed. Same with items, where the player doesn't keep track of individual poke balls, and instead note the chance of catching an average Pokemon.

I've started to work on the Cadien region. Most of it is 'to be determined' to work with the surprise twist that Mythic tends to throw around. So far, I've settled on a formerly isolationist country that recently agreed to open up to the rest of the world. Obviously, that means inviting new trainers to try and conquer their league. But, being more militaristic than the other regions, their league is based on military training rather than sports.

So, is there anyone interested out there?
