IC: Kids on Bikes

Paranormal adventures in the vein of Stranger Things or Super 8, with a rules light system that encourages shared world-building and narrative control.

I just bought the rulebook and I'd like to take it for a spin.  Anyone want to join me?

I don't have the book, but I love a good Spielberg-ian tale, and shared worldbuilding. I'd RTJ if you are willing to take players that don't know the system.

I'd love to try it.  I've only got the Trashcan edition, but that's enough to manage.

Sounds good- It isn't like anything I'm playing right now, and that's a draw.

Yeah, that's not a problem - the rules are pretty simple, and I'll be posting copies of the result charts for reference, so that'll cover most of what you need.

This is definitely enough people to play, so I'll get the game set up and post a link in the next couple days.

Re: IC: Kids on Bikes

Yay!  Got my character ready, just waiting on the questions and collaborative world building part (that was fun in the one game I tried).

Re: IC: Kids on Bikes

Alright, game is up at link to another game .  I don't have any specific RTJ instructions for this one, so just give me a name and any other ideas you might have for your character for now, and let me know if you will need any kind of help with char gen, game rules, etc.

Seeing how many people have commented here, I'm thinking that I will experiment with having a large group to start with, and if we get the usual problem of players dropping out after he get moving then we'll still have a decent number of established characters remaining.  Or maybe everyone sticks around and we split into multiple connected "missions" like in Stranger Things.  Only one way to find out...
