So every now and then I decide I like a system enough that I keep coming up with a bunch of ideas for it and end up writing books about some of those ideas, or at least somewhat extensive house rules for how to use the game with particular themes. As a result, I end up deciding that I want to find out if people are just as interested in the game as I am and if they would join a Discussion Group. This week/month/year's victim is the AGE system. I've been focused on Modern AGE, but if I did create the Discussion Group it would be any and all rules welcome, both existing and house.

I started with dragon age when it first hit the shelves as box sets then got the rule book to.

I moved onto fantasy age and now reading through modern age with the goal of getting the expance in the next few, weeks

I thought you might hop on this wagon. I looked over The Expanse while I was on vacation, and found a useful chart for indicating what mods indicated what rates of success across the common TNs. I wasn't personally invested in the source material, but the table will probably be invaluable all the same. And a discussion group would be a good place to put and discuss little details like that. Glad to have you along. I'll wait to see if others want in.

While I do tend toward writing adult materials, I think it's worth discussing whether to lower this to mature, or if I should keep it adult because there's potential to link to adult games and rules. Any of you have particular opinions on it?

You can always change your mind and change it to general admission, but it's harder (if you care about the participants who might get kicked out) to go from general to adult.

I'm not sure I have a mouth that is suited to General, but overall I see your point. It's applicable to Mature too.

Love the age system. Very versatile, quick to learn and fun to play PbP. I’ve been looking at Modern AGE lately and it seems super cool and like you can do some version of just about anything in it.

I'm new to this site. I like the AGE system quite a bit. I've run and/or played in Blue Rose (using Age), and Fantasy Age. I've got Modern Age and the Lazarus and Expanse settings.

I'm a big Expanse fan - and the system looks like a good fit for the setting.

I'd enjoy joining a discussion group for the system. However, I'm personally not interested in joining an Adult restricted discussion group, FWIW.

Eh... I went ahead and did the thing. link to another game It's Mature since there's only a handful of us. Might get more interest this way.
