Adam came  down the  Steps  have receiving a Hug from Yuto  and  Mikki,  Sims  grinned as he  , first shook Adam's   Hand then gave him a fatherly Hug.. Dukes did the Same,   and Cal   slapped him on the back , giving him a fist bump

 Mrs  Sims  gave him a  tight hug, she was  dabbing her  eyes.  Dukes   wife   hugged him as well.

   Mik Gave Adam a  Hug as well, a big grin across his face,Ya shoulda  had one of those  up North too!... But  you got one now..eh!

 Mindy   smiled , she Looked at  Lindsey as if   for permission, then gave  Adam  another
 fierce Hug, he  Finally mage it to Lindsey.

  Sims  smiled, he looked at  Alice. he nodded to Duke then looked  at   the two vives and Alice   once more..I've said this before. But  there is no doubt, that Duke  and Payne are the eladers of this  team... Buy that guy there?  90% of the Team  would  follow him into  to battle..

 Yuto smiled  broadly...Band say, you all  wore them out that last song.. so we have two  slow songs on the Vid machine with the vids on the wall..everyone, enjoy the  night..

When Adam came down from the stage, Lindsey hilariously had to wait in line to give him a congratulatory hug. Even Mindy was asking permission for a turn. Lindsey nodded and have her a 'why not' shrug. When it was finally her turn, she pulled him in tightly. "Lat but not least, hey?" She giggled. "Looks like we have something to celebrate later." She nibbled his ear. "Slow songs incoming."

   Adam  smiled,guess  we should  take advantage of that...

 Folks  paired up, others   went to their tables . Duke and Sims  made sure  they had thier wives on the floor.

 Mindy watched   Adam and Lindsey

 Eddie and  Kate  walked in, Behind them  came  Jenny who looked more like she was working , then  coming to a party,

Since no one was stepping up, Garrison took the opportunity to approach Mindy. "Since no one else here can recognize the most beautiful woman in the room, I guess the honor falls to me. Mindy, would you like to dance?"

 Mindy seemed to  be   awaken from a trance as she  watched Lindsey and Adam. Mik was   talkig to  Klay  and White, who had intercepted him on the way over.

 Umm... sure?  why not... she  smiloed a bit uncertain  as  she waited for himn to escort them to the   slow moving   wave of  humanity.

Garrison barely managed to contain his surprise. He did not expect that. It wasn't the excited kind of yes he could have hoped for, but he was happy to take it.

"Awesome!" Taking her hand, he led her out to the dance floor, spinning her around with an over the head formal turn. This wasn't ballroom dancing, but he did it in a way to show he knew what he was doing. he pulled her in close, but not so close as to be presumptuous. "I love to dance."

Lindsey laid her head on Adam's shoulder. Right in her line of view was Garrison slow dancing with Mindy. She had no idea why, but something about that felt like a disaster in the making. But if she interfered, it could blow up in a completely different way.

"Adam." She tapped his shoulder. "Look to your left. Mindy and Garrison are dancing. We need to do something. I love my brother, but she'd never go for him. I see all kinds of ways this can go completely sideways. What should we do?"

   Adam   gave a  short  chuckle, , but his  face belied  the  amusment.Don't know what kind of girls he  is used to  hanging with. But Mindy is as close to be a new Yorker as you can get, and I don't be , high rise  apartments, From what i understand, her Mother  and father gave a  damn, but they both worked hard,, Mindy  will dance with him, because she won't be rude. But if he tries to pull and Eddie  , or  Steele on her, she  may , flat , slap him down.

 Speaking of... Eddie  Just entered with Kate, and   you little Buddy , Jenny is  right behind them

 Mindy was a bit  stiff  as they  Dance, she  was certain to show, that she wasn't going to be 'spun' again.

 I enjoy dancing, I'm better  at fast  dances,..

When Bronko saw that folks started dancing, he approached Heather and her friends.  Noticing the similarities between her and the older lady, he presumed she was her mother.

He asked her mother if she would like to dance.

Lindsey spun the two so she could see. "Are you serious? Why are they even here?" She was getting frustrated. Either, these two were getting away with doing whatever the hell they wanted, or EG sanctioned this. She started to wonder if EG was playing both sides, or if he didn't believe she could do her job. Which reminded her that she needed to secure the Cindy and Lissie story for Saturday. All things considered, she needed to take care of business.

"I have a lot of stuff to do. Damn it. Do me a favor. See if you can save Mindy from Garrison and Garrison from himself. Maybe dance with Mindy and point some Dragonettes in Gar's direction. Okay?" She kissed him and went to cut off Eddie.

To EG: Why is Eddie and Kate here at the pep rally? They only ever cause trouble. And if you sent them, why didn't you tell me? Oh and look at today's issue of the Weekly Sun. Eddie is sniping perv shots and selling them to the competition.

Just as she was finishing with the text she stopped Eddie and Kate. "Hey guys. What's going on? Why are you here?" She looked at Jenny. "Hi Jenny, nice to see you."

 Heather was smiling, her mom had come over to dance and was heading back to her table when Bronko came up to her. " Hello you are Bronko, Heather said you were a very good dancer and a better friend. I would love to dance, I taught Heather everything she knows. You can call me Alice," Alice followed Brono to the dance floor and began dancing she was absolutely an amazing dancer. It almost looks like she could have been a professional dancer.

 Heather was all smiles, " Mom be nice to him don't show off too much." Heather then moved towards Yuto, she waved and smiled at Lindsey and Adam and gave him a huge thumbs up.

"Yuto sir, I might need three tickets for the Chiefs game but if it is too late Could I get three for the first playoff game, there is this family I invited into the restaurant Gale the daughter is so cute her mom has the flu and she wanted me to sign a Jackie the Dragon for her." Heather's kind bleeding heart was dripping out again as she smiled to Yuto and her legs and hips moved to the music.

"Alice, you are an amazing dancer.  I can see where Heather gets her steps.  I think that, had my mom not drilled the footwork into me, I might not be able to keep up with you."

Taking her back to Heather is said, "Make sure you save another dance for me later.  I wouldn't want to miss another chance to show the rest how it is done."

Bronko was enjoying today, but he needed another beer.

 Alice smiled and gave a little look and replied," Even at my age probably no one here but you can keep up with me, I was a professional dancer many years ago, I did stage dancer, ballet, Jazz but my favorite was always Ballroom dancing and I love the Tango."

 After their dance Alice smiled, " Oh yes definitely Bronko you are very good Heather did not lie. Do you know how to Tango Bronko?"

"Does a goose know how to swim?  I love to tango, but it is a bit of a risque dance, to tell the truth."

 Alice smiled, Bronko was built and very good looking a very young man. Alice smiled and replied," Well if you don't feel comfortable doing it here, maybe before I leave we can find a real dancing hall and try it, I haven't had a good Tango partner in almost 15 years."

  Adam  added a hug and  said,I'll see what I can do, I think Mindy will dance  with me....

  before the  2nd  slow song, Adam walked over and Smiled at Mindy, then  gave a nod and a grin to Garrisson.  Hi... Hey, Garrisson .Mindy? I know  you and Garrisson  just danced, But you think i could get a slow dance in? don't know how the rest of the  night will go, Lindsey   is gonna be busy a bit with those three over  there.

 Mindy smiles and Put an arm  Adam's ..I would  Love to!!!.. Garrisson, Maybe a bit later...., the song started  and they moved off into the flow.

 Jenny  smiled ,I got  some  really good  back round on the chiefs if you want to see it  later? or tomorrow?

EG:goddamn ... they are supposed to be at the Mall getting people's take on the Chiefs game... Dammit!

Eddie looked towards  Adam,...just wanted to see this place  again.. My hands  feeling better, I was hoping me and Bronk could  take a walk, talk things over.

 Kate  adds, Isn't that  the new girl from upstairs.

 Yuto  listened to  Heather. he  opened his cell phone and tapped  away..He Hods up a finger  as he looks sat the  screen...You talk to man..yes? I can get  three tickets for them for  Sunday, it will be  in  South Endzone... or?  they can come to first playoff  game, Have  seats on home side . south 40?..Middle way up? not bad  seats? You ask him, i have to tag them tonight..yes?

Bronko's smile broadens, "Well, Alice, it's not like I have more on my calendar that football right now, and dancing with such a lovely, young lady would please me greatly.  You didn't, perchance, teach your little girl there how to tango, did you?"

"Actually, Jenny that would be great. We can meet tomorrow to go over it. If you want though, stay for the party." Kate was being suspiciously quiet but Eddie made the most bizarre statement.
"Eddie. Adam isn't going to talk to you. Not tonight anyway. EG said you should be at the mall, and honestly no one likes you here, so you should go."

Kate finally spoke up pointing out Adam dancing with Mindy. "Go home, Kate. Since when do you follow Eddie around like a puppy anyway?"

Once the Stomp was done and the party began, Ben looked at Lu-Ti.

"I promised to go back out to the fans. If you want to go eat straight off I'll join you shortly. Get me a steak, rare, please. If you'd rather dance, my family should be around someplace. Warren's good. Byron thinks he's better, but isn't!"

Indeed, there was Warren, who was enjoying the party.

"Congrats on making that list... does that mean you are good or popular or both?" Hey, Lu-Ti, would you like a dance if Ben can bear to let you go?"

  LU-TI  waves  to Ben,I will dance with   Warren, it sould be the first of  many fances  at parties  for the  years to come

 Adam  and  Mindy   danced, she    was closer to  him then, maybe she  should be, but dam's   arms  keep   the distance.

so?  first Pep rally, right in time for the end of the season..but we have at least one  more  coming.

  witha big smile and sparkling eyes  she said,..Yes, I am Very Lucky  Lindsey  got me down here....god..that music there..everywhere you go, like they got paid to listen to it..

there was a Laugh,that's my version of  hell, i get  traded to them,  and have to listen to that.. I'd  have my play list blaring...

  Kate raised her shin a bit,I'm Supposed   help Eddie on the  poll taking thing...

  Eddie looked at  Lindsey,..alot of  people like me here....

 You want me to ask.. I can yell pretty loud?  Get a show of hands  who  wants you the  hell out of here.  Jenny  smiles  tightly.

 Heather shook her head as Eddie walked over, he was just scum in her book, but that would be giving hard honest scum a bad name, she giggled as she responded to Jenny, " Eddie you make scum look good, and if you get in my way I will practice kicking with your balls understood." Heather smiled as she watched Bronko and her mom dance.

 Alice blushed and responded, " Bronko my dear thank you but I am old enough to be your mother." She giggled and smiled at the handsome hunk. Then Bronko asked if Heather knew how to Tango, Alice smiled and replied, " I wouldn't be a good dancer mom if I didn't teach her, she is good." Alice then went back to the group to get her wine.

Warren turned out to be an accomplished dancer, if a little mechanical. Someone who'd been instructed in the art. He made polite conversation, asking Lu-Ti what sort of things she did and what interested her, and confiding that his great dream was to be a test pilot. Indeed he had an application in for the  Naval Test Pilot School at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland. He'd attended the selection course and expected to hear soon, but this was a Bug Secret, he hadn't even told Janice!

Ben went outside and waved to the fans.

"Sorry about that, they were about to start the Stomp and wanted Lu-Ti to take the lead," he explained, then went down one side of the carpet and up the other, shaking hands, signing autographs, and posing for selfies.

He went back in and reclaimed Lu-Ti, thanking Warren for taking care of her.

"Food now?", he asked. "I'm starving."

"Yay, awesome. Stay." Lindsey took Jenny's hand. "Hmm, we can easily find a dance partner for you. Just a second."

"Eddie. You're supposed to be at the mall. Kate, you're supposed to be with him at the mall. Mall goers. That's who you're supposed to poll." She held up her phone showing EG's text. "Not from me. That's from EG. So, it doesn't matter if people like you here. For the record, no one likes you anywhere. So, go do your job where you're supposed to be. If your childish impulse control needs help, I can always get set security to help you along." She pointed to the door.


Lindsey held Jenny around the waist and escorted her in. "So, over there is the bro squad. Smokey, Santos, and Wheeler. Mik is around here somewhere, but probably sandwiched between a couple Dragonettes. He cute, but he seems like too much work." Then an epiphany hit her. "But! If you want someone that knows how to dance and is your age, that's my brother Garrison over there by the bar. The tall handsome one that's obviously not a football player. I'll make any introduction you like."

It was nice dancing with Mindy, at first. But after a few moments, Garrison could tell that she wasn't into it. It was disappointing, for sure, but whether he wanted to acknowledge it or not, he knew he probably wasn't the kind of guy she wanted. Maybe he could convince her, but that wasn't really his style. If he had to convince her against her instincts, the most he could get out of it was sex, and that wouldn't be a fun morning after. He knew that from experience.

By end of the song, he was ready to just get a beer, and try to back off to just being friendly. He was about to suggest that when Adam came over and asked to cut in. Garrison's stifled his first reaction. He didn't like being the guy who the girl needed rescue from. But it did make for a less awkward exit. Also, Adam was Lindsey's boyfriend and a prince in the eyes of his employer, so it was better to be gracious. As they danced off together, Garrison made his way over to the bar and ordered a beer.

  Eddie  was  Bummed, and Embarrassed..  some  intern who suddenly got a  'made up' job , just  told him off and   brush him off, like  some  wager  earner!

  yeah?   You'll see? Just because you  lucked into a guy, who had everything fall into his  Lap? He's nothing without the Amota's, or  Duke, or any of the others...

 Kate   frowned; it was plain she didn't want to leave.   This was...'the place to be".. and
she had to leave.

 Jenny looked  aound,yeah? I mean? there are alot of  good lookers here? But i sorta want some one who is going to spend time, tryign to  get me home, evern though they don't have a chance in hell You know? I don't  know anyone here. But i don't  need  an Eddie, or Eddie  Jr..or  even an Eddie cousin?..Just a guy who wants to have  fun, that i  can drop  off at the door when i leave here.
