Exalted of Nexus and Powers of Promises

EDIT: We've filled the game's RTJ needs. Please consider this ad closed as long as this pretext remains.

I have worked on this for three years plus, and I have had a lot of hardship that I fought through to keep this game on my radar.

I'm very glad to finally be ready to advertise for my game.

That said, I'm somewhat at a loss for fancy introductions, and feel it's not very good substitution to just copy and paste my introduction and game information posts.

So instead let me tell you some things, as a GM, and not ST.

We have a simple (*Keep is super simple) bare knuckled anti-slaver survivor (if this was 1e that might be their nature). I really appreciate their eagerness to KISS* and also develop in game.

We have two solaroids that will have oaths. One is the Emissary's patron, and has a very social background with backing. The other is very caring and supportive of the good people of Creation, or even just the decent, but has clear enemies she wants nothing good to come for. In fact, they both have good motivation to see my antagonists not just die, but suffer before dying.

Among these characters we have a lot of growth in store, from just the avid players.

So I'm looking for a three series. The first being a starter series (several short stories)  to get the PCs together, and have a commonality (which can be found in the Game Info). After these "quests" are through, I hope all PCs will (first off still be in the game! but also) know each other's play styles, and character goals. Then I have two series which are light on "quests" and more event with sandbox elements.

So you've read this far, I appreciate that! I can be longwinded! :/

We have an artificer, a covert bureaucrat of Nexus, and a freedom fighter with a friend in high places.

We could use something isn't quite any of these, but most of all not going to get in the way of these. I'm open to most exalted, but I have three exceptions. First, Dragonblooded won;t really have a good place here. For a very in canon theme, they just can't compete one for one. They are allowed, but I'd suggest having any ally and just playing 1.5 characters, if you're set on a DB. Alchemcials aren't a good fit here, I have another pace for them. I won't allow Alchemicals. Finally, Infernals and Abyssals must be rogue or renegade. They need to have a good reason to be working with the story and being cooperative. So they're al;lowed, but have the bar set high to be accepted.

Lunars have some exceptional material that no other character can benefit from. Solars are main stage, just due to the nature of the place they hold in the early series. Sidereals have some restriction, in that they need to be Ronin, but with the right Mentor or ally, they could very well monopolize certain assets that my current roster can empower.

So a lunar, or sidereal would be great, but solaroids (solars mostly) are great too. Dragonblooded are fine if you want to play with them, but it'll be playing on Famicom hard mode if that's your actual character.

That said, should a Dragonblooded rise to the challenge of playing along side three celestials, they will have super long term rewards, in the fact I have a family legacy aspect, mostly for allied and neutral STCs, that you'd be able to be solely able to monopolize, as you'd have both ways to cheat death, through age and vitality, as well as an otherwise untouchable aspect of the legacy of lifetimes. To be clear, that would be part dating sim, part Kingdoms type sideline storylines. Forging a lineage of scions and holding a house.

While, yes, half castes, and beastman especially have some access, Dragonblooded certainly will dominate the scions.

I still don't advise playing a DB though. The focal game is very easy to get lost under the other celestial powers. If you play a dragonblooded, they are builtd as outcastes, even if they were Dynasts, they've (for your chosen reason) left the family. Most of all because you'll be with "anathema".

At this point, check out the game for more information. I only have a few things to add. The game has been in work in progress mode for three years (about). I still have a lot of work to do, but want to do it in tandem with STing.

I don't compensate or charge for backgrounds lost of earned in game. If that worries you, I can mostly certainly tell you, it will be far, far more the latter; gaining backgrounds, not losing them. You probably won't ever lose a background either. It just means if you have background that you neglect or abuse that it isn't "plot-immune" or insured.

Finally, this is a XP heavy game. MEaning this and this alone. I give out more XP than I've ever seen given at 1/20 in the many games I've played. I'm in an inactive game that ran the introduction for 1.4 years, and my character has 8 XP. That's it. If it were my game, I'd have been WAY past the introduction and into action; social, physical, and dramatic. I'd also have given out more like 120 XP, and that's lowballing the "show up" player.

So check out the game if you want to play a 2.5 game. ;)
