Sci-Fi Horror [Freeform/Adult]

Hello and welcome! My name is Harvey and I've been cooking up a campaign here for a while and now and am looking to open it up to players.

The game is in the Adult category as this will include:

Gore and grotesque violence
Ongoing mature settings and themes
Adult romance and Erotic RP

(*All gameplay will occur within RPoL's ToS! Obviously, but I feel the need to restate it here anyway)

The story takes place on what many consider a haunted space pirate ship. Out in dead space, where wreckages are harvested on and zipped together to create massive amalgamated ships that float throughout the sky, one in particular stands out against the rest. The ship is a floating city known to be a hub for some of the most carnal of pirate desires, criminal of businesses, and secret of information brokerages. But even the most hardened of pirates lock their doors after 3pm, refusing to open again until sunrise.

Call it superstition, but the locals say the nightlife after 3pm is anything but lively. From sightings of cryptids, to aliens, to ghost stories, the ship has secrets within its walls to tell; whether its council or crew see it this way or not. Stories and attestations are numerous but the ship's management deny any such allegations. Including any and all reference to a secret undisclosed sector of the ship. Many have lost their lives to the pursuit of this preposterous impossibility, either by sheer curiosity and foolishness or pure madness.

The game is set to be in the mid range level for seriousness. The characters take themselves seriously -most of the time-, however a Borderlands' level villain or two might crop up from time to time to break up hardline story monotony.

City life/character interactions vs the horror storyline will most likely teeter between 2:1 to 1:2 ratios until we find an organic balance that works best for the group. My goal is to create something in tone and pacing of that of the Walking Dead TV series(later seasons) or The Last of Us franchise in order to balance Horror to Slice of Life.

Some inspirations for the creation of this game were:

the Mass Effect/Dragon Age series
the Mandela Catalog
Scorn
Home Sweet Home
Prey
Fringe

If this sounds of interest to you, please check out the game and send an RTJ!

Thank you!
