This has been in the works for roughly a year and a half. I can't cite them here here, but if you look at the game you can see links to relevant material and other boards.

This game is a city-based game, the former name of the city was Ivost, and that is placeholder for now out of game. Check the character creation rules on the power level, for reference.

Threats, action, and drama, will be produced in a few ways. Threats from outside the city upon your city is one source of action and drama. The gods meddling in your group's divine ascension is another, and the more focal source. Certainly, however, this game is a great place to showcase crusades, or searches for artifacts in the printed books; or to travel to other planes for courting, dueling, or conquest. I hope you will have reason enough to invest in your city, and as result spend a large amount of time and effort to maintain that investment; but it should be relatively easy to simultaneously pursue legendary wonders, and planar adventures.

You are a member of this infamously powerful group, the name of which is decided by you and your fellow mates. The current name is the Crucible. This is very much a placeholder in the event a name cannot be decided on. The city is set to your group's layout. The population is selected by your group. The laws these people and creatures must adhere to, are set by your group. The punishments, the trials, the reform, and incentives; all set by your group.

Cities outside of your city have long since taken notice, and now view your homestate in manner consistent with what you've made it.

The gods, however, the gods have their dogs in the race. Your group is a pick of at least a few, but the gods are jealous; save for the few that sponsor the individuals.


Work well as a group, and you will be stronger the sum of your individual powers. Squabble and brood, and you'll excise the flag I have planted for you, upon the world.
