Had a switch of players, always looking for new ones and open to basically any books in the 3.5 canon, adding up to an atmosphere of pure, unbridled fantasy but with a twist against the grain of good and evil adventurers.

If I don't get in touch with you, it's because there are some issues with my Internet that I can't quite pin down.

Looking for new players in a 3.5 milieu, starting at level 3.

As per Lady Maevre's request, the mature themes aren't to the point of sociopathic indulgences. Some of the older players brought the evil as good thing into a new realm, so we're leaning on mostly good or neutral characters.

Fantasy with cool items, racial panoplies, and pleasant magicks abound aboot.

The situation is that there is a scourge on the realm (like Midnight) against which the odds are great, but unlike Midnight there is a high magic milieu. Also some elements of Shackled City and the current city Baden's Bluff is being besieged while an unsuspecting group of warships is returning to deposit goods. You suspect something will occur related to trade and violence, or maybe nature will strike back.

The GM has an interesting and different take on running his game. I mean those words seriously and not sarcastically (so hard to tell with text).

He is new to RPOL, but we want to be encouraging new people to GM: it helps us all. Come along and give it a try :)

Aleph Null, sorry, I don't usually check the posts in this ad so sorry for the delay. RHD is an acronym I'm not really familiar with but probably any LA is fine unless min maxed to the point that there's not much fun to be had. My assumption is that you'd want to do a minotaur like in Dawnforge or something?

This doubles as a bump, my current players seemed to have evaporated, prolly based on my loose about the gills style which leans hard toward narration.

Oh, RHD = racial hit dice -- that is, the other part of ECL.
For instance, glouras are ECL 9 in base, as they have LA +2 and 7 RHD. Actually, that's one of the few high-ish ECL races I can think of off the top of my head that are worth losing levels over, since most of it is in RHD (and thus gives you hp and skills) and unearthly grace plus DR10 on a bard (with the innate casting levels to make up for the lost levels) is super nice...
Anyway.
It...looks like your game is still going? I can't quite tell what the party's level is, but if you have an aranea in the party it probably isn't 3 anymore...ehe.
And ye, I get not checking the ad posts, but in case you do see this that is what that means.
