Wounds of the soul, and scars of the heart. (Adult)
We've got off to a sticky start. I could use a few more players to round out PC tendencies and group PCs based on the complementing feature and attitudes.
THE CAST
We have a grizzled war vet mercenary that isn't afraid to do what it takes to get the job done. The end justifies the means, and survival is his first priority. He can be abrasive, but he has a sense of right and wrong and lives somewhere in the gray.
We have an other worldly woman whom has the "gift" of death magic. She is a mostly caring person, not some maniacal necromancer, she just uses the gift she was given in a practical way. She carries tools from the modern Earth world, but has far from integrated into Sylvane culture. She has yet to learn more than rudimentary trade language, and only knows an obsolete tongue from her Earth world. She does not shy away from battle, and she has made herself a skulking zombie, that skirts the camp.
We have a carefree and lively summoner who got caught up in bad time when he was just trying to have good day. So far he's been quiet and observant, but he recently met some dwarves and couple of his fellow man. He seemed willing to chat when they were friendly to him. He seems to genuinely live by a goldenrule.
Then we have an amorous battle priestess with propensity for magical bolt attacks, and healing. With a kiss and a brief caress of her fellow lady, she'll staunchly protect her ever-growing gaggle of girlfriends. She is short in words and her actions are often quite simple, and brief. She prefers topical, minimal, and whimsical actions, rather than anything formulated or complicated.
So far there has been a snits and cool quiet between the character, and I'd like to introduce some new players to help make the groups more organic and focus on the aspect of cooperative roleplaying and coordinated combat.
Knowledge of the WoW TCG is currently more useful than MTG knowledge. If you don't know the WoW TCG rules, that's alright! I am taking it very slow, and explaining things in gradual progression. We will largely be using a limited list of the cards to represent powers and contacts. So the learning curve will be a little bumpy at first, but then relatively smooth afterward, as you only need to learn the base concepts to begin with (which is the biggest step!).
