Feature Inquiry - Account Accessible Character Sheets

I'm not sure how feasible this is, but an issue I recently had made me realize that it would be a useful feature.

Backstory:  I joined a game, writing a lengthy RTJ.  I was accepted, did my full character sheet, and made my OOC greetings.  I then made my first in-game post.  A few days went by, and I realized that I hadn't copied over my RTJ and character sheet into Word, like I typically do.  I attempted to go back to the game and gather the information, when I received an alert that I had been banned.  Not simply removed from the roster, banned.  So I mailed the GM to inquire as to the reason for my banning (I hadn't said anything toxic or against the TOS), and to mention that I was interested in getting my character information.  No response.  (Obviously if I hadn't been banned I could have at least retrieved my RTJ from in-game PMs.)

Request:  Whenever you update your character sheet in a game, it creates a copy that can be accessed from the main page (or somewhere other than in the game itself).  It can either be an automatic thing, or something that you can opt in to.  Like I said, I'm not sure how feasible something like that might be, but it would be useful.

While that sounds handy, I'm not sure how I feel about it.

What if the GM of the game edits the sheet, instead of the player? Would it create a copy then, too? Would that copy upload to the GM's account, or the player's, or both?

Would each update overwrite the previously-uploaded version? If not, the potential file size could be enormous, with duplicates. I know some people that constantly tweak sheets. More importantly, if edits by GM *or* Player created a new file that overwrote the old one for either individual, you could lose whatever version of the sheet it was that you wanted to keep.

Would you be able to opt-in for one game, but not another? GMs might wish to not get spammed with sheets for their NPCs every time they update one, just because the option is useful for games they play in.

If you had to opt-in by game (which seems the most reasonable), then you're having to remember to click the 'opt-in' button for that game - wouldn't it by just as easy to remember to save a copy of the character sheet? (I understand that obviously this is a feature that would prevent having to remember to do that, but... if it's opt-in, then there's still something you have to remember to do for it to work, and it's far less draw on RPoL's resources if players are saving copies of sheets themselves, I would imagine.)

Probably would be helpful if you could read your RTJ (if there is still one) for the game.  Can't see a reason why we should deny you access to that thread, might resolve the issue as well.

Yeah, even that would be helpful.  Unfortunately it is locked in the game itself, which I can't access.
