Some of the other boards I'm on have a multi-quote function that lets you quote several posts at once. Is it possible to add this here?

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but you can already quote multiple posts at once on RPoL. Start by quoting what you want to quote first, and then scroll back up in the thread and hit 'quote' on the next post you want to quote while you're in the compose window, and it will add the second quoted post below the first, etc, etc.

You can put the tags in manually or hit the quote button into a new tab and copy the text.

I think the key words here are "at once," as in something like checking off each post you want to quote and then adding them all at once to the reply box so you don't have to scroll back up again every time :) Correct me if I'm wrong though, Adamar.

Well I can tell you the answer you'll get for something niche like that.

Correct. The places I've seen it there's a button on each post. Click that on every post you want to quote and when you hit Reply it puts all of them in at once and it keeps the author tagged for each quote.

Certainly no harm in asking and RPoL Development is exactly the right place to do so. :>

As has been noted, RPoL already has the ability to multi-quote (hit reply and then click on quote in each required thread in turn, does require some scrolling) though not in the proposed format (select the ones you want then 'quote all').

Personally I would never use such functionality ... but by the same token, I wouldn't be against it either (unless it made the interface more cumbersome).  So my vote is 0 (ie abstain).
