Easy solution for mobile?

I've tried on a mobile browser, there's a lot of zooming. I wonder if it might help the situation to simply allow users to enable a left-justified option, so instead of centering the main portions of the window, it shoves it left. That would lead to less scrolling and zooming on mobile I think.

Did you try using the responsive version of the site (which is being tested at https://beta.rpol.net/ )?

http://responsive.rpol.net/ used the same data as the main site and it is perfect for reading. I don't really use it for writing though.

It seems to move much slower. Relatively speaking and the maintenance notice is not responsive.  Also the 0 border makes it feel like there is more missing to the sides so I fiddle with the zoom.

But I like where this is going.

Maybe just get used to trusting the size.

Speed never was an issue for me, and this morning, after the server change, the responsive site seem as fast as the normal site.

If you tried the responsive site near the server change, I suggest that you try it again. Maybe something Jase was doing affected the responsive site more than the main site.

I'm just curious what this "centering" issue is.

I use the main site almost exclusively on mobile and there is never a case of centering vs justified unless someone posts a ridiculously wide picture or table, in which case it is already left justified.

Just being curious.

Just speculating, but would orientation of the phone's display have something to do with it?  (Landscape or Portrait?)

It could, but that would be if something is wrong with the site's code for determining width, or the browser or possibly a combination of the two (for example, paizo.com is suffering such issues at the moment).

However, I haven't had such issues on rpol's main site across three phones and a laptop using firefox, firefox mobile, firefox mobile beta, and waterfox.

That's good to know.  Thanks.  I can foresee possibly trying to use RPoL from a tablet in the near future.
