Re: OOC Thread 8

Sorry Andy, I messed up with my description. The wounded at the dockyard don't need a medic. They are already bandaged up. Anything that can be done for them has already been done... not as good as Mike could have did, but they don't need him. They are just being given a ride like your wounded got when the Mad Dogs returned.

Fuse - is my revised post ok?  I'm assuming that the Marines are happy to go with Ortega.  How many Marines are there BTW?

Also what has happened to the Swedes that we rescued?  Where are they at present?  Is there still an opportunity to talk to them about what they were up to on Hel and, possibly, their involvement in Gdansk?

Yeah that's good. Sorry about that. There are six. I'll get a reply in tonight.

The Swedes have been keeping to themselves, mostly in their room at the hotel. There is still a possibility to talk with them, but as a heads up, you shouldn't expect them to reveal too much about their country's very unofficial foreign policy in Poland.

I'm just waiting on a reply from a few certain PCs before I skip the game ahead. I was thinking of shooting ahead 48 hours to when the munitions have been uncovered and need to be transported back to Gdansk. Following the delivery, the group will be free to take the game off in another direction (far from here).

Or would you prefer a shorter fast-forward to get more RP'ing in the town?

Happy to RP in town for a bit, but if the group want to move on that is fine.

Will the flashlight from Frank's current AK fit one of the AKM's?

Non one seems to object so, Frank will trade for the drum mag and for the AKM for the AK-74, less the flashlight mount.

OK, Frank will then return the following gear, when practical:

AK-74 MAG 1: 26/30
AK-74 MAG 2: 30/30
AK-74 MAG 3: 30/30
AK-74 MAG 4: 30/30
RPK-74 MAG 1: 45/45

Frank will need to draw out [150] rounds of 7.62S for the drum mags (and once he gets the other one from Varis?).

"I understand that you don't have any larger ordnance to trade with but if you have any artillery rounds that you don't have a gun for or unexploded aircraft bombs or missiles I could defuse for you I am happy to give you a hand."

Added this to my post since I had posted a return to the billet.

Fuse/JJM - I've made a slight tweak to my post #661 so that it fits with the Marines being billeted in the Fire Hall rather than next to the Mad Dogs.  Hopefully it all flows.

Re: OOC Thread 8

Can I get a list of ammunition for this?

Hiring a boat:

x150 rounds (either 5.45mmB, 7.62mmS, and/or shotgun) for Alex and the pregnant girl
x50 rounds for each additional passenger such as Morgan or Gordon

If JJM gives Maria a military message pad or equivalent, and some pencils, she will negotiate a 15% discount (this must come off a PC sheet inventory) - DONE

The total cost is 210 rounds. I need to know how much of what type you are parting with.

In reply to Fusilier (msg #948):

Fuse - does this need to be paid for in ammo?  Could we trade some of the gear we took off the Kopernik instead?

It just seems a mistake to trade away ammo when we have other gear we don't really want and probably need to trade away.

Everyone - this is a list of items discovered aboard the Kopernik.  Does anyone want any of this or does anyone think that there are particular items that we should keep?

Several Rigging Cables and Tackle (rope/steel)
Wire Mesh Cages
Portable Generator (large)
Underwater Cutting Tools
Powered Cutting Tools
Carpentry and Metal Hand Tools
Scuba Gear (six sets plus spare tanks)
Air Compressor (industrial)
Air Compressor (air mixture)
Zodiac Boats with Outboard Motor + Oars
Floatation Airbags (two)
Fuel Drums (six)
Plastic Drums (six)
More Rope
Crates
Hydraulic Pump
Linen
Medical Supplies (already raided by Mike - I assume that everything has therefore been taken)
Kitchen Equipment
Food Stocks (this has already been added to our food)

The guy who owns the boat wants ammo, but is willing to take half of the 'Carpentry and Metal Hand Tools' and the 'Linen' in place of 75 rounds. There isn't anything else there he wants/needs. Ammo is his main interest.

Fair enough.  Ortega can put in 50 shotgun shells so currently of the 210 "rounds" we need to pay to hire the boat we have the following:

Half the 'Carpentry and Metal Hand Tools' and the Linen taken from the Kopernik (75 rounds value)
50 shotgun shells from Ortega

This means that we need to find a further 85 rounds.  Frank just returned a load of 5.45mmB rounds to the stores.  Can we use 85 of them?

Yeah. Any amount in any of the listed types is fine.

I'll get a post up tonight that should cover all of the PCs latest actions/dialogue. I'll probably then bump up the time a little.

Unless anyone else wants some, Varis will take ALL of the 40mmS grenades. He's a frickin' sniper with a GL.

Frank, Varis will gladly take all of your 5.45mm ammo. He emptied 4 mags on the island raid. Perhaps we should post an exchange IC?

Re: OOC Thread 8

Rope is always useful, and if we have the means to make use of it and haul it around, then I'd say the generator.  Also one of the zodiacs, and some of the scuba gear.  If the fuel drums are full I'd say that too, we could always siphon it from somewhere (although ship fuel is a lot heavier than typical diesel, a sturdy engine could still burn it.  It wouldn't be super efficient, and the hippies would get mad, but it would work).
