Three players and I would play a Gnome something or other I never played before maybe a Monk or Ranger with a Small animal companion like a smaller breed hawk or a riding dog.

Any update on this?  It sounds like a great idea!

We could consider a fairy maybe for smallness - anyone else a fan of Willow?

I've never GMed 3.5 but could try to give it a shot until someone more qualified comes along. Does it have to be set in Forgotten Realms? I've never played in that world other then Balder's Gate and Neverwinter Nights video games.

No as long as the only races allowed are SMALL. And should start off from the same community as friends forming a band of adventuring sorts. I have some ideas joining a big caravan as guards as a banner group, joining a war under mercenary banner of their own, going off to just adventuring works to.

And I really like the idea of playing the Conjurer using supplements and all the cool rules to be a good one. Anyway his summoned creature is as big as a summoned one of a bigger race. ^_^

Do we want to base ability scores on an Array:
Something like Scores of 15, 14, 13, 12, 12, and 18 arranged as desired?

Max gold for gear and crafting since we are coming from same place?

I can create the game and post a link here later today. 3.5 works for me but anything > 2ed is fine. My FG knowledge mostly comes from the 4ed sourcebook I have taking plac4 after the Spell-something event if you all can go for that.

it's been a while since i have run a d&d campaign. but 3.5 is my preference.

as for a game of all gnomes and halflings? sure, as long as it wasn't too weird. a conventional game that only differed from any other in that all the characters are pint sized sounds cool. a game full of one-off left handed can-openers for tiny cans sounds far, far less appealing.

anyone have an idea of the type of character they would like to play?

i would be interested in running the campaign in 3.5, but i would like for everyone to chime in first.

Conjurer, a mage and a little master of the Art, with undecided Prestige Classes there are many if 3.0 is included too.

JAM if you would like to GM the game that is fine for me. I don't know how well a 2-GM game would work. I can be a players. Was thinking gnome fighter or bark but can change it up depending on how the rest of the party looks. Any class is fine by me.

I look forward to whichever game gets going as well as a chance to nail down all the specifics and start talking with the other characters

I don't play adult games there is never a need to go there IMHO. I want fun and general content or maybe mature - maybe.
