Will Someone Please Run A 4th Edition Forgotten Realms Game

I personally think this is a very underrated and shamefully dismissed edition. It has its strengths and with the right DM and players is always a treat to play. I cannot DM a game because I do not have the time but I can play in one. I prefer level 1 using Keep on the Shadowfell or the Slaying Stone. Essentials is my preference but am willing to stick with the PHBs and whatever the DM feels comfortable with. Same with backgrounds and character themes. Any takers?

I would, but it will have to wait until the game I'm running now comes to a close. There's no sign of that happening soon.

I'm not very familiar with the Forgotten Realms. What would you want a DM to emphasize about that setting?

I would like to support a 4th Edition game. I'd play in a Slaying Stone game but I wouldn't try running it again. I wouldn't want to run or play in a Keep on the Shadowfell game.

Okay, let's just say that I might be willing to go back on my word and run another 4E game, at least for a while. Let's say Slaying Stone, followed by Scepter Tower of Spellgard, then Orcs of Stonefang Pass. That would be enough to get a party up to 6th level or so.

From there? Assuming we've got a good group and a rhythm going, maybe do the tail end of Thunderspire Labyrinth, enough to get to 7th level and then do Pyramid of Shadows. Or do Madness at Gardmore Abbey, that's 6-8th. Or dig through the latter issues of Dungeon (from about issue 179, when MM3 came out).

Assuming I'm willing to do this, there are a couple caveats. First, I don't want to have to fiddle with anything. Just run the scenario by-the-book, other than accounting for PCs going off the rails. So I'd want a group of five ('cause that's what all the numbers assume), and I'd want them to be able to post fairly often.

Second, I'd need to put some limits on certain things that slow down the game -- particularly interrupts and conditional abilities. That's something we can handle on the fly; if it looks like someone's abilities are causing delays, we can probably swap out the problem items for something else.

I'm willing to do this, because I know my efforts will be appreciated.
