D&D 5e or CoC 7e

Hey there I'm looking to play in either D&D 5e or Call of Cthulhu 7e. I have experience playing and running both but right now I'm looking to just play. I have a character for D&D but am happy to make new ones if they don't fit with a story you have in mind.

Theria - Lv. 1 Goliath Tempest Cleric - Lawful Neutral<->True Neutral<->Neutral Evil (has a cruel streak when casting magic) - Wildlander* background

She first uses her spear and shield, but carries a two-handed maul on her back. And of course has her magic as well. I can go into her background in more detail if you wish but the main thing with her is she is watched over by The Devourer, but doesn't know it. She thinks of it in a more natural way of simply talking to the storm, but is devoted to it because the storm is what's given her her gifts (of magic, compared to the rest of her tribe which was more physical barbarian style goliaths).

*I homebrewed Wildlander by tweaking the Outlander background as per PHB 125.

I'd be down to run some Cthulhu. What are your preferences on setting and style?

In reply to Jondon (msg # 2):

I prefer the 1920s, classic style (not pulp - not yet anyway I want to play it in real life first to see if I like it). I'd only say not the Blackwater Creek scenario because I've already done it.

Guys if you manage to get this going, consider me interested for playing both systems.
